Anyone else notice Disney has not put out the Halloween treat guide yet. Last year the food guide came out on August 23rd but here we are 3 days before the start of Halloween at Disneyland and no food guide.
Not shocked. They are late adding dining packages, entertainment schedules and reservations this fall so that’s probably late too.

Parade Dining Package, so far only at Tratoria...View attachment 431863
I tried booking the special dinner package for the parade for our party on 10/3, but dining reservations are not open yet. We called and they said that they are not taking reservations, but it is walk-up only on party nights. That goes against what their website says. Website says you need to have a dinner reservation. So confused, hopefully in a couple of days, the dining reservations will open up for the party nights.

Well, so far we have OBB tix for Thursday the 10th, HHN tix for Friday, “linner” at 3 pm at BB for F! on Sat, and Storytellers brunch on Sunday. Hoping to get Oga ressies... but wonder if we were to wander in after F! On Saturday night—I believe the park is open till midnight, if we could go in for a mocktail? Anyone tried super late?

We also have a mini trip booked for Fri-Sat the last week of March. Coming down to look at some colleges and asked Dd if she wants to do something different at the end of the week, and she said no, we are going to DL... so who am I to argue?

I'd keep calling about that or email guest relations. That doesn't sound right at all. Usually on party nights, the park that doesn't have the Halloween party, is very crowded. I remember last year having to wait 15 minutes in line outside of Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta just to get inside to wait another 5 minutes in line top get a 10 dollar plate of spaghetti on a party night. Anything special like what your talking about will be gone really fast. Send these folks an email to try to get to the bottom of it.

The website says that you need a dinner reservation for WCT -- so go ahead and make a reservation for your date. I think the latest time is around 4:30/4:45 pm, but I've read that the times may go as late as 6 pm if you call the Dine Line. Then, when you check in, ask to upgrade to the Parade Dining Package. It is first come, first served -- if the reserved viewing area fills up, then they won't take any more dining package guests.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about this. Book WCT for "dinner" -- try for an earlier time (6 pm might be a bit late if the viewing area fills up). Enjoy your meal. If you get into the viewing area, great. If not, there is plenty of good viewing available along the DCA parade route.

I wish they would do a World of Color dining package. That's good to know that the parade route is long so one should be able to find a decent spot to view it. I would have probably tried to purchasing the dining package but would rather save my $$. :)

I wonder if they've changed their mind about the dining package for the party. I can't find the link to the package anymore. It's not on the Oogie Boogie Bash page, the Frightfully Fun parade page, or WCT's page. If it's there, they've hidden it well!

Still showing for me on Oct 22nd on the WCT page... of course you can't actually BOOK dinner for the 22nd yet....

Look under "Oogie Boogie Bash Dining Package". You actually make a normal reservation for day of party then just request an upgrade to the package when you check in at the restaurant based on availability. It really isn't the same treatment as the other packages where you book the package directly.

Yeah I’m not sure why they are making it so complicated for this package.

I'm still not seeing it...what section of the page is it under?

That's so weird! When I load the page, it doesn't have the Oogie Boogie Bash Dining Package. I recall seeing it yesterday, but it's not showing up today. My version of the page goes from "Our Wines and Beverages" to "World of Color Dining Packages". Must be a glitch in the browser. Computers...

I was able to get a dinner reservation at 4:20 at WCT. Never been there, but the menu looks good. We can get in the park at 3 that day on 10/3. Can’t wait!!
