Hey, gang. I am considering going down again for Halloween night solo and was wondering if anyone else was planning on going and might wanna meet up. I'd be there on the 31st of course for MNSSHP and then probably at least one additional day, maybe to hit Food & Wine since there is crossover there.

I am still in the maybe stage right now since I have a DLR planned for November, but I was also trying to make the Halloween Party a tradition so I am leaning towards it.

I'll be there Oct. 22 - Nov. 2, solo part of the time, and already meeting up with a friend, and a few Dis'ers, at other times. Halloween night I'll probably be at the Yehaa Bob show, and would be glad to meet up with other solos there. Sat., Nov. 1, I'm having dinner at T-Rex, and then will watch the Irish tap dancing at Raglan Road. Feel free to PM if you'd like more info or might like to meet up.

Thanks for the responses. I am leaning toward going, but I will definitely be doing the MNSSHP on the 31st. I'll probably stay a day or two after (but it won't be a long trip). Meeting up definitely sounds fun!

Hi, I'm doing MNSSHP on Oct. 23.

If a few of you solos may like to join me for the T-Rex dinner on Nov. 1, or hang out afterwards to watch dance show at Raglan Road, it would be nice to meet you.

(My trip ends on Nov. 2.)

Have you got your ticket yet? And will you be dressing up? Still working things out but I think I may be going on my own. Can't pin down my friends.

Hi amfie, yes, I already have my MNSSHP ticket, and I'll be Disneybounding. Are you dressing up?

I think I am going to be a mouseketeer. Generic but I am really bad at costumes and creativity! Plus I already consider myself one so it's easy to do! I managed to score a CG reso on Tuesday so will get to see fireworks at 'eye' level but have heard great things about the party. I don't know why I am worried about my friends...my whole point of a solo trip was to do what I wanted so I should!

Not to hijack the thread but it's already on topic :)

Anyone interested in the Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic? I was thinking about going solo for Halloween weekend and doing MNSSHP on the 31st and the Food and Wine Classic on the 1st. For some reason I feel like I'd need a friend at the F&W classic.

Anyone?

I'm not on this forum much so a bit about me: I'll be 27 by the time October rolls around, from Atlanta, single (no kids), foodie/bookworm/peoplemover enthusiast. Obviously (due to my interest in that weekend) mickey ears, steak and red wine are high on the list of priorities.

Let me know if you're interested in meeting up and I will get a causeway ticket squared away!

Well, a friend of mine is trying to complicate my trip. I didn't think anyone would come, but he's suddenly very into it but wants to add Universal (AND HHN, which I am not a big fan of). Not that I necessarily mind that, but it adds cost (though splitting the hotel helps with that). Doing Uni though requires a car, maybe even staying offsite. :crazy2: I dunno...I am trying to work out reasonable costs for a short trip...when you get to spending $700 to $800...you may as well just go for $1000 and stay a week!

If I go I'd still like to meet up with some DISers, but my time might be very limited depending on how this all shakes out.

Unfortunately, I won't be there on Halloween (a mini-bucket list thing for the future)... or anywhere near that date. I am actually attending the first one on Sept 1st. Call me crazy for attending the first one or the fact that it is so early, but it's such a fun event, I couldn't pass up the opportunity for such a unique experience when I'm down there.

Anyone else "crazy" like me and going to the first one?
