When do tickets for MNSSHP go on sale? Someone mentioned it was march or april last year. We will be arriving on late on the 30th so are only chance is the 31st. Do they sell out quickly? If we can't get tickets are there other things we can do with our 5 kids for Halloween?

Tickets are available in late April, early May. Halloween sells out, but normally not too quickly. You should be fine to get tickets. This board normally has the scoop when things are available. Depending on how old your kids are: An alternative is to check out Universal's Horror Nights. Not for the little ones.

We bought our 10/31 MNSSHP tickets right away when they went on sale last year. It was at the beginning of May. I have family members who decided to join us-- and they didn't buy their's for that night until the end of August. It did sell out, but I only think about 6 weeks ahead of time.

Just to also let you know on Halloween night the Boardwalk throws a party on the village green with a DJ, arts 'n crafts, trick or treating, and a character session. This past year Mickey was there for autographs and pictures dressed up as a ghost. It was a nice party. We did this on the 31st and MNSSHP on the 30th. Lots of great Halloween fun.

Great to know about the party at Boardwalk. My kids will be 9,7,7,4, and 2. Although I know they will be very happy and grateful just to be at WDW, I'm sure they will be a little dissapointed if they miss the whole costume trick-or-treating thing. Just have to keep an eye on the boards to see when tickets go on sale.
