halloween party

This will be our first time attending the halloween party, can you tell me when the tickets go on sale, we are going the last week of Oct., should we buy the tickets in advance or will they still be available to buy when we get there. Also do the adults get to trick or treat and receive candy or is it just the kids, is there a Halloween parade? We have been many time to the one in WDW, but this is a first for DL, any info would be appreciated.

There is a Halloween Cavalcade, which is basically characters dressed up and riding in a truck down the street, it's cute but not a parade. Yes, adults can get bags and candy along with the kids. Getting your tickets early depends on which night you want to go. Some nights sell out much faster than others.

we went last year... It was so crowded! you can also take pictures with other characters in various locations in DCA. Everyone gets a bag for candy and you stop at different candy stations there is no limit on how many times you can visit a station... You will wait in lines for pictures and candy very long lines!!

Tickets go on sale I think around the beginning of August!

buy your tickets online before you go, I know last year several dates sold out and some people who were going to buy when they got there we sad because they had sold out!!
