This might be a silly question, but does Disneyland have a Halloween Party like Disney World does? My birthday is in late September and next year I would love to spend "a milestone birthday" in my favorite place in the world. :hyper: A halloween party on top of that seems like an added bonus. Any pics or details would be great!

TIA

they have a parade i saw pics of it they say it starts at pardise pear i think it was on a site

Here is information about the "parade", but its nothing like the one at WDW.

The new Mickey's Trick or Treat on the Street procession starts at Paradise Pier an hour before the party ends. There are "sign floats" at the beginning and the end, two large moving jack-o-lanterns and the central float with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto in their Halloween costumes. There are three performance stops - one at the Golden Screams Theater, one in front of "a bug's land", and one at Candy Corn Acres, where Mickey, Minnie and Goofy perform some Halloween-themed music, and the other Disney characters in the procession as well as the costumed Cast Members invite kids out of the audience to participate. Kids receive a Mickey's Halloween Treat button.

The only time I experienced Halloween in DL was like in 1995. My feet really hurt that day.
The parade for MHT just started last year and was really short. I liked the fact that they actually tried to have a parade. It made me happy. :)

I am having trouble following this post. So, do they have a Halloween party that does start in September or is it only in October. This is a separate ticket?

The link provided above should give you all the info you need, but here's a quote from it:

Also expanded will be Mickey's HalloweenTreat, a separate-ticket nighttime event which gives kids and their families the opportunity to dress in their Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat throughout Disney's California Adventure after it has closed to day guests. This year's HalloweenTreat will offer tricksters of all ages more treat locations along with fun character encounters (including an all-new nightly cavalcade), interactive games, and spirited music with DJ Mickey. Older kids and parents will want to experience the heart-dropping Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. and meet the hotel's ghostly staff members who materialize only during the Halloween season.

This year, additional nights have been scheduled for Mickey's HalloweenTreat: Thursdays and Fridays beginning October 4 plus Monday-Wednesday, October 29-31. Tickets go on sale August 1.

and an additional link for ya! :)

Yes, it is a separate ticket event at Disney's California Adventure. So far, the only dates are in October. As previously mentioned the links provide all the information you need.

Yes, as PP said, it is a seperate ticket, currently ranging from $25-$37 depending on the night you want to go. Currently only APers and Disney Visa Cardholders may purchase, general sales start Aug.1, but I believe price increases a bit, not positive on that. Limited number of guests per night, so dont wait around to long. Weekends sell out faster of course. Lots of trick or treating. Lots of characters, and a tiny parade. Hopefully the parade will be better this year. Rides, although not all, are open, with relatively short lines.

HTH!!
