Halloween is also Formal Night - will it change?

Halloween 2004 is on a Sunday. Sunday is also formal night for the Eastern Magic. Is there a possibility that Disney will move formal night?

I know my children are looking forward to getting dressed up in their costumes and going on a DIS organized trick-or-treat. They will likely want to keep their costumes on for dinner too.

It would seem very strange getting that formal portrait with a tux, a gown, and three ghouls! Then again, maybe it would make a great photo too.

I kind of hope they will move it to Monday night (still a sea day) so the children can enjoy their entire Halloween day/night, and then the whole family can dress to the 9's for the formal night.

A tux, a gown, and three ghouls sounds like a great portrait-- would make a good thing to send out to all the friends and relatives, too.

We're planning to dress as pirates for the T or T. I definitely won't be going to formal dinner in my pirate outfit, but I guess the kids might want to.

I had read somewhere that the trick or treating was around 3pm? So then it wouldn't matter....and you can tell the kids that dressing in fancy shmancy clothes is part of Halloween!

I sure hope they decide to change formal night as well. Even though I am planning on having the T & T around 1:00 and Disney will probably have theirs around 2-3pm I would still like to dress up with my boys. Plus Disney usually has a Costume party in the evening for the adults. I really don't want to have to get dressed in costume, then change into formal wear, and then back to my costume. I'm on vacation for heaven sakes, let me relax. We are signed up for early seating but I just want to have fun and not worry if we get done in time to get all dolled up for the pics.

Halloween 2003 was on CC day. So DCL had their thing on the day before. I would imagine, they would probably reschedule your formal night. HAVE FUn!!!!!!!!
