Halloween Horror Nights 2010?

thanks for the help, but does anyone know if my AP and my HHN ticket is all that is needed for S&S? or does S&S only work if you buy the US ticket and HHN ticket together?

Yes that is correct. To use the Stay and Scream option you must be in the park prior to park closing so you would use your AP to gain entry during the day and then just head to the Stay and Scream areas (one is by Finnegan's) before the park closes (by 5:00 pm). Once the park is closed, someone will come around to everyone in the Stay and Scream area to scan your HHN ticket.

Awesome, thanks for the help. This will be my first HHN experience. It's actually my first haunted house experience, since I've always been scared. Time to overcome those fears.

I'm going on 9/30 for my 1st HHN, and would like to see everything if possible. Being an earlier date and a Thursday, what are the chances I can see all the houses without buying an express pass? I bought an express pass before for the parks and it was a total waste of money as none of the regular lines were over 15-30 mins anyways. As my budget is already stretched, I'd hate to do it for HHN and end up not needing it. I realize nobody will have a "for sure" answer for me, but any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I would suggest waiting until you arrive to purchase the EP. The bad thing about HHN is it's always busy and if you go on a non-peak night, the EPs are cheaper but more people will probably buy them. The queues get to 2 hours very easily so having an EP will help. However...if you wait there is a good chance they could sell out of EPs. It's one of those things that you just have to either want to buy or not and then go for it. No one can guess how busy it's going to be on any one night.

I believe you will need to go to Guest Services and actually pick up a ticket for HHN for the night you wish to go. It will be free, but you will still need that HHN ticket. inkkognito can confirm as I know she and her husband are Premier passholders.
Yes, you should have "coupons" you got with your Premier stuff. You redeem them at Guest Services for your ticket.

This doesn't really have to do with Halloween Horror Nights, but I was wondering if anyone knows of the Yankee Candle mystery for this upcoming Halloween season? If so, any ideas on who you might think the suspect is?

I've never heard of this. :confused3

Lol, totally random. I think the answer is Pelvis O'Ghoul because the poem says something at the end about a familiar sweet scent filling the air and I think they mean candy corn, which is his favorite scent.

ok maybe I missed this posted since I didn't look at all post but I need help with the cost thing... ok so it says HHN is $74.99 then if I want the S&S it will be the reg price for that day PLUS the $75?? Also a possible additional $40 to $80 for a express pass?? Any help? Just trying to get a basic understanding for next year. tyia

The S&S is the admission to HHN? Then I surely messed up. For some reason I thought I had to buy another ticket for HHN, and that's what we did! Boy, am I confused! Can you please clarify so I will know if I"ve got duplicate tickets?

Thanks!

OK...to put it simply...

The Stay & Scream ticket or upgrade is nothing more than a discounted HHN ticket that's available to park guests who want to stay after the park closes and enjoy HHN that night. To do S & S you only need two tickets: your day ticket to get you into the park prior to closing and the HHN ticket for that night. If you purchased the S & S ticket or upgrade (discounted HHN ticket) to go with your day tickets, you have all you need.

Remember...you need two tickets: your park ticket for day access and your HHN ticket. There is NOT a separate ticket called a Stay & Scream ticket.

Thank you Metro ( my blondeness is showing). I have 2 tickets a park ticket and a HHN, so I guess I'm good! Whew, no more confusion!
