happy sunday!!!!

All I have to say is Desperate housewives, greya anotomy and SOPRANOS!!!!

Best night of tv!!! by far.....

tomorrow we can play the ? game based on the shows...anyone else game????

Love the Lion King!! We had it here a couple years back and it was fabulous. I am finally going to see Rent next month with my daughter. I have wanted to see that as long as I can remember and just have never done it...........

Buck, just watched Pretty in Pink last week! LOVE it, and I could say the same about Sixteen Candles and all of the "80's" movies. How about St. Elmo's Fire, now there is a classic! My students at school tell me everyday that the 80's is over, because of the music I listen to! If they only knew about the movie thing too..........

I am not sure if anyone was getting together details for Trick or Treat yet? We are traveling with Nana and Papa and we must be certain to have their cabin included. They live for Halloween and I don't even think they have noticed yet that they won't be home for Halloween! Yell if you are ready for cabin numbers yet.

Have a great week everyone.

I thought you were doing some type of map for the trick or treat? I just want to be certain that my inlaws are going to have kids come to their door!!

Thanks.

Oh Missy, if they only knew the HALF of it! Remember pants tucked INTO your socks, fingerless gloves and GIANT earrings? And no one will ever forget the MALL HAIR!

We still listen to 80's music all of the time also. Remember Rick Springfield? That was my first concert ever!!! Ahhhh those were the days......

Buck, We were at Pleasure Island one and my Dh's cousin and her husband were taking us there...At the time he was in charge of all entertainment for Pleasure Island...He took us back stage and we met Rick Springfield nicest guy ever.......I remeber when he was on my soap opera...

Ok question about the shows?????

SOPRANOS:

What do you think will happen to Tony??

Grey's Anotomy:

Do you honestly think that Dr. McDreamy will stay with his wife???

I have already started teasing my bangs for my 20 year reunion in August! I will need to buy some hair spray for that, I don't even own any! Oh my goodness, I am starting to get a hankering for some Dexies Midnight Runners!

I officially bought a cruise outfit last week! We do have a first communion this year so the boys will both have new suits! Thank goodness we don't have the "white suit" rule! I am not sure we could get any use out of that again. I really try not to complain much, but something might slip out of my mouth about that.

Have a great evening........we are praying for early snow and a snow day tomorrow! We haven't gotten one in 2 years, it is time. What do you think buck? I know, I know, there is more important things to pray for!

Missy

I just missed the Candies by a year or two.........I wanted them but my mom said they were too high (but of course she knew nothing! :furious: )

As for parachute pants.........they would have not worked in any of my looks! You know sleezy tight, peg leg pants phase or only buy your clothes at the thrift store phase a.k.a. Pretty in Pink era or the lovely preppie all izod, collar flipped up (while wearing several shirts), and a matching purse COVER (anyone have one of these?) phase. I must not have had time forthe parachute pants.........

The look I am going for now is your basic, I hope I can find a pair of pants that fit over my big butt! Otherwise known as the "choice of undergarmets is very, VERY vital era" :rotfl2:

Maybe we should all meet at Diversions on 80's night!

Missy

Princessh- I saw where you were looking for Hotels since Radisson was full. I just booked a non-smoking room for Rick and I at the Radisson for Thurs and Fri. Night before the Cruise. They still had some non-smoking rooms with 2 double beds.

Teri,
Do you know if thenon-smoking rooms are the standard rooms or a room with the cruise package. When I called Raddison, via the 800 I got a guy who said all they had left that was non-amoking were suites with the cruise package. I then called the Raddison at the Port directly, and they were the ones that told me all they had was the single King, or double smoking. I am thinking maybe I should check on-line and see what there is. How did you book with them? We stayed with them last fall and just loved it there. If at all possible, I would really like to stay there again. It was just that we can not do a king only or a smoking room (my kids have asthma) The price that they gave me from the cruise suite is a little more than we wanted to spend. Let me know how you booked and I will try to book that way. Thanks! :)

Try Travelocity. When I checked there earlier today, they had 2 doubles non-smoking (also non-cruise pkg) for $139 a night.

princessh,
We booked through the Radisson website. We booked a king suite, but had the option of a Caribbean room with 2 doubles. We have stayed at the Radisson two previous times and LOVE it also. The pool is great!!

Missy, you are cracking me up!

I'm up early checking the weather, and you didn't get your snow day. Drew was praying BIG TIME for a snow day. He tried to recruit Kylie to pray with him, and she said "No Drew, I like school. It's fun for me!" She still in Kindergarten, though.
