missyoh8 said:Buck, just watched Pretty in Pink last week! LOVE it, and I could say the same about Sixteen Candles and all of the "80's" movies. How about St. Elmo's Fire, now there is a classic! My students at school tell me everyday that the 80's is over, because of the music I listen to! If they only knew about the movie thing too.........

We still listen to 80's music all of the time also. Remember Rick Springfield? That was my first concert ever!!! Ahhhh those were the days......

Do you know if thenon-smoking rooms are the standard rooms or a room with the cruise package. When I called Raddison, via the 800 I got a guy who said all they had left that was non-amoking were suites with the cruise package. I then called the Raddison at the Port directly, and they were the ones that told me all they had was the single King, or double smoking. I am thinking maybe I should check on-line and see what there is. How did you book with them? We stayed with them last fall and just loved it there. If at all possible, I would really like to stay there again. It was just that we can not do a king only or a smoking room (my kids have asthma) The price that they gave me from the cruise suite is a little more than we wanted to spend. Let me know how you booked and I will try to book that way. Thanks!![]()

As for parachute pants.........they would have not worked in any of my looks! You know sleezy tight, peg leg pants phase or only buy your clothes at the thrift store phase a.k.a. Pretty in Pink era or the lovely preppie all izod, collar flipped up (while wearing several shirts), and a matching purse COVER (anyone have one of these?) phase. I must not have had time forthe parachute pants.........
The look I am going for now is your basic, I hope I can find a pair of pants that fit over my big butt! Otherwise known as the "choice of undergarmets is very, VERY vital era"![]()
Maybe we should all meet at Diversions on 80's night!
