Well, we received our docs yesterday, so it feels official! I guess I need to start consider things like packing, stopping mail, etc., eh? I can't believe that in little more than a week, we'll be flying away from all our responsibilities here, on our way to sun and fun!!! Just waiting for bracelets, then we'll be all set.

Kristin, thanks for letting us know how chilly it is in CT. I'm not missing that weather AT ALL! It's been in the upper 70's here all week.

Sounds like there's a party at the Raddison pool at 6p Friday...perhaps we slummers from the Marriot will crash!

Thanks. Yes, we are fortunate to have the best health care he could get. My friend since childhood is a doctor at Children's and when she did her rotation in the diabetes center she was amazed at the things they can do and how truly awesome Childrens Hospital is, especially with the diabetic children. Jake is still having many tests. His speech is jargled and slurred leading the doctors to believe there is fluid on the brain causing some damage. He is out of the woods as far as us losing him. You were all praying during those 12 critical hours and I do believe it worked. Thank you my Dis friends.

How tall are your suitcases? I have a large suitcase 12 inches deep and am wondering if it will fit under the bed.

Does anyone else get stressed out right before a vacation? So much to do and am a bit overwhelmed.........more than a bit

I got an email saying that my water was delivered and received at the warehouse!!! We'll see when we get there if it really is!!!

I am all pampered and ready to go. I got my hair cut, eye brows waxed, and a pedicure yesterday. We are leaving Saturday for the sun!!!!!

We got our bracelets today and my kids love them!!

Not long now!!!!!

Um yeah. Ask my cruisemates from last year... I got shingles from the stress before the cruise. It cleared up just enough just before the cruise so the flight wasn't totally miserable! So far so good this year!

No bracelets or shirts yet here either. Tomorrow will be our lucky day!

Um yeah. Ask my cruisemates from last year... I got shingles from the stress before the cruise. It cleared up just enough just before the cruise so the flight wasn't totally miserable! So far so good this year!

No bracelets or shirts yet here either. Tomorrow will be our lucky day!

I can't believe you got shingles! That is an awful thing to get. My mother had it about a year ago and she was in a lot of pain and it seemed to have lasted months. I am dropping weight out of sheer stress and panic...not good. I hope that we can all stay healthy another week. It's right after the cruise that I tend to crash and burn.

Handing over the kttw for ANYTHING becomes far too easy don't tell Craig. i like him to be "surprised" at the end of the week!! Last year we didn't even check our final bill. We waited until the credit card statement came . I'm shocked that he's willing to take me again!

The kids woke up this morning and Bruce was still here and they yelled out, "Today is the day we are going to Magic Kindgom? Right?" When he told them no they started screaming!!!!

I just measured our deepest suitcase and it is 12 inch's. We have two of them and they fit under the bed, no need to worry about that.

James is bald, so no hair cut for him...
I got my hair done last week. Pedicure and manicure on Monday.
Tuesday is PANIC day Last minute search of the house for things I forgot to pack. Making sure house sitter has all, knows all. Cleaning and packing vehicle. Checking, double checking and triple checking ALL documents, money, creditcards, etc. Dealing with the odd feeling that I forgot to pack something yet knowing I packed way too much
Remind myself to breathe...it's a vacation!
