A little over a week to go folks....

... I'll be wishing ya'all a fond bon voyage from the shore as some of you may be leaving for Orlando soon! I still got my airfare to Orlando for this sailin' (even though we're not on it anymore) - so I'll be somewhere ashore when the Magic sails for yer scary voyage!!!! And here are the posting counts as of tonight!

The toughest part for me going on vacation is work. I don't know what it is. Folks find out I'm going to be gone and things go nuts. The other members of my team are all crossed-trained and very capable of doing what I do. I've gotten to the point that I tell very few people outside of my team that I am not going to be in the office. They keep wanting to give me a Blackberry. I keep threatening that it will have a tragic accident and fall overboard.

One week from today I will be slumming it at the Residence Inn (and heading to KSC)!

Price of work sending me all over over the world - tons of Marriott Reward points

Price of an Avis Rental to get the the Marriott Residence Inn - pretty low with a corporate rate and an upgrade

Price of slumming at the Marriott Residence Inn - a lot more $$$ for me to spend on the Magic.

Personalized buckets for ToT??? Wow, cool. You're AWESOME, SUPERB, MAGICAL, etc etc.

Are you shipping that to each individual family or to the warehouse.

I shipped them in ine box to the warehouse. They will arrive in my stateroom, and Kristin and I will hand them out to the kids before trick or treating.

Well today I am off to take the daycare kids to the pumpkin farm. We will get a hayride, get to pick pumpkins, pick apples, do the corn maze, and a bunch of other stuff. The kids look forward to it every year. It figures we had a ton of rain last night. It has stopped, but the field will be nice and muddy.

Just wanted to mention that it is not too late to sign up to hand out candy for the trick or treat. You can also sign up for the door sign tag. Just send myself or Kristin a pm.

our family got our hair cuts last night - goodiebags and costumes are in the hands of UPS - suitcases are strewn all over the laundry room and partially packed......time to get excited and nervous!!!!! Starting to have those nightmares where everything goes wrong, you realize the trip is almost over and you haven't done anything yet, etc....

DD9 woke up this am and all she could say was she wished it was next Friday!!!! Yeah, we're ready!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!

Today is DH's last day of work unfort. he will still have to take his blackberry with him and the cell phone so it will not be a "real" vacation since the office will always be able to get in touch with him...A vacation is never a "real" vacation for him.. Hi everyone....getting down to the wire now. Still have not looked in our closets. Usually I have everything done by now but this time around I just don't know why I have not packed a thing yet. My days have been full and the kids have been swamped with homework so by the time that is done, I am done LOL. My husband travels most weeks so getting anything done around here is up to me, and only me (glad I'm not the one traveling). Rob is home till we leave so I am lucky I will have some help with the kid's workloads for next week. I am not planning on bringing a cooler but I will be bringing the makings for Black Russians on board, yummmmmm. Rob is a beer drinker so he can step up to the bar. As for costumes, we are not planning on dressing up. I would but Rob is a party pooper LOL! Hope you all have a great weekend and if I have not done any packing by Monday....please light a fire under my behind!!! Take care. Erin.

I told her we don't leave until Wed. (Considering her son is having a sleepover tonight). She fussed and told me I should have been ready by now...why wait till the last day to do things. The last time she went on a trip, she was packed and ready to go the previous month!
I then told her of WNDRMITE's travel plans, and she got even more panicky...I thought she was going to contact Wndrmite herself and chew her out So, Wndrmite, if you get a strange woman contacting you telepathically, that would be my sister...just ignore her!
So I hope everyone has at least started to think about packing, cause ya'll are driving my obsessive sister nuts!

Your too funny about the drink. Had two new ones last night. Sex in Paradise which was FAB... How could it not be?? Right??

And Purple Haze. Which was also Fab!!!
