Put me at the top of the loser list... I wasn't even planning to participate cause we have no kids... now DH is asking if we're buying candy for the trip... I guess you can count us in :goodvibes

That is great if you are willing to hand out candy. If you are interested send me an e-mail or PM with your room # so I can add you to the map. We have 38 kids signed up. This is going to be such a fun event for them. Personally, I think our DIS trick or treat is going to be even more fun than the DCL one. DCL only has 7 stops. I can not imagine every kids on board attempting to get candy from the same seven stops. I have a feeling the DCL trick or treat is going to be a mad house. Our kids are so blessed to have the DIS trick or treat. It is going to be so much fun! :goodvibes

Heather- That is a very good point! Will your kids do the DCL ToT?

***Question......for those of you dressing up, or having your kids dress up....will you and/or your kids be wearing your costumes to dinner?

Once I put the kids in costume I'm not taking them off again until bed time.

Two weeks from today we'll be on the ship :Pinkbounc !!!
The shirts came out really cute, can't wait to see the tank tops.

I agree completely! This TOT will be so much better for the kids. Thanks to the two of you for putting it all together. I was already thinking that others on the cruise will be asking where we signed up for this when they see the kids in action.

I was thinking about the same thing!! I'm wondering if they'll be spotted by other kids on the cruise that will want to join in!

I must say, I'm very impressed by all of the planning you all have done with shipping treat bags, and of course, Kristin & Heather......making the personalized ToT pails, and organizing everything.....can't thank you guys enough!!

When I participated in the "Dis" T or T in 2004. The Chaperone leading each group of kids had a sign on a stick that said "Dis Private Function"

I made up all of my trick or treat bags last week. I have suckers, gum, nerds, spider rings, jaw breakers, tootsie rolls, sweet tarts, cherry twizzlers and a fun size chocolate bar. We have one small suitcase with Halloween stuff. We also decorate our room and door for Halloween.

Our Travel agent sent our Documents out yesterday. We will get them Monday!!!

Heather- The t-shirts look WONDERFUL!!!! I will wear my to board and to our
DIS MEET: Promenade Lounge 3:00 Oct. 28th. Anyone else wearing their shirts Saturday??

What if we tag the kids with our green bands so they can be identified...But then again, I can't see another kid running back to their cabin to dress up for our ToT and then not know where to go. Also, being that the groups will be supervised by adults, I'm sure that if someone asks, the answer is simply "this is a private party"

GREAT!!! It will be fun to spot each other at the terminal. Rick and I plan to be at the terminal at 10:00 or 10:15. We are on the first Radisson Shuttle to the port

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all of the effort put into the dis TOT :thumbsup2 My children are going to love it, and I wanted to say thanks now before all of the madness :crazy: starts :goodvibes

We hope to be at the terminal around 10am or shortly after also......we will be looking for everyone!
 
Each child paticipating in our Dis Trick or Treat will be able to be identified by their personalized trick or treat pails.

On another note, we learned this week that we underestimated the shipping costs for the T-shirts and bracelets. Heather wasn't about to say anything but my DH said Heather isn't running a business and shouldn't assume she should just eat the loss. He said I should let you guys know. The extra costs averaged about $3 each order. When we estimated we forgot to esitmate in the shipping material. I told Heather this morning that I would split the difference with her for the bracelets and t-shirts but I just wanted to let everyone know.

Heather and I have have really enjoyed making this cruise extra special for everyone. It has been fun getting the buckets made, the signs, web site, etc. We really have enjoyed it and have had so much fun working together. All I have to say is Thank GOD for Free long distance....LOL!!! Thanks for all of your appreciation....

We can not wait to meet everyone.......
 
The lead parent of group will have maps of the rooms, right? This may help from us passing out candy to non-DIS kids. I hate to sound mean, but I don''t want to pass out candy to non-DIS kids, then run out of candy before our kids get to the rooms.

Also, we plan to get to the terminal by 10:30, we need to board ASAP to get switched from late to early seating.

All of our kids in the Dis trick or treat will have pails that we have made with their names on it..This way if a child comes to your door without a pail then you will know they are not part of our group. Yes, all of the lead parents will have maps telling them where to start at and where to go next. We have grouped all of the kids together based on family, ages etc.. There will be six groups total.
 
Heather- I would feel terrible sticking you with that extra shipping. I don't think I have record of your address any longer. Can you PM me with it again? Or, if your return address is on the t-shirt package, I can send a check for the extra $3 shipping when I receive the shirts/bracelets.
