Hey fellow Disers! Here's my dilemma...

at the time of our trip, my kids will be DS11 and DS8. We plan on doing MNSSHP on a night OTHER than Halloween (hoping for less crowds). Is that smart? Do you think it matters three days prior to Halloween or actually Halloween night?

Next question, if we DON'T do MNSSHP on Halloween night and the park closes early for the party, we were thinking of heading to Chef Mickey's for dinner that night. Has anyone been to C.M ON Halloween night to eat? Do they do anything different? Are the characters dressed in costume?

Someone, somewhere MUST have visited then....

We went to MNSSHP last year about 2 weeks before Halloween. You would never know that it is not the same night. Everyone is still dressed up ( kids and adults a like ) The kids got a kick out of Trick or Treating at several different locations within the park. Also, since the park closed early that day it was a great way to the adults to get a 2nd chance at some of the best rides. ( We walked onto Pirates of the Caribbean - twice ! )

The parade was really cool and of course, there is a nifty little tune playing in the back ground that you will not be able to get out of your head for days.
