I was thinking of doing Palo Tea....and I'm going to do dinner not brunch...as I don't want to spend alot of money on nursery times.

I can't wait to pay the cruise off so I can be done with it..I'm saving my pennies, quarters,dollars for tip money for the cruise..and I have started to collect little things here and there for the FE. yesterday I bought stuff for my magnets.

I've never purchased my MNSSHP tickets early...I'm thinking I might do it in Sept...just in case..with my luck..it'll be sold out on the 28th because I want to go. before my cruise
I've bought them the week of the last two years..and walked up and seen that they were sold out


I have soo much to do these upcoming months ...I typically start doing christmas shopping in June...so I got a late start and found some things for my kids yesterday...last year I bought half of their toys from consignment shop and half from Target/Walmart...I am doing the same this year...I found a lightning mcqueen alarm clock/radio..really cool for $4 and 5 transformers figures for $4 altogether. its a good start..

I already have an idea what I want to buy them for christmas I know...
1 lightning mcqueen ride on vehicle (for manuel) and 1 ATV (for Miguel)

or 1 Ford 150 Ride On vehicle for both kids.

Fish Tank with Fishes

Cars 2 cars (there's a $20 set at Disney Store that I want to get)

I need to buy more software for the fisher price iXL they have

and little animals/figurines/cars/planes/trains from consignment stores

dress up costumes

DVDS: hopefully kung fu panda 2, POTC4, Cars 2, Rio, Rango, Winnie the Pooh, Transformers 3. African Cats. and will buy some used dvds from Ebay..like Jungle Book 2, Stitch has a Glitch, Incredibles (only pixar movie we don't have), Star Wars, and Indiana Jones.

They really don't need alot of toys. so I hope I can stick to that script.

my mom is going to buy them the Cars 2 race track..so cool...

yes I know I am talking christmas...I am obsessed with 3 things...our birthdays, halloween, christmas. If I could have a christmas tree up all year long without people thinking I'm a loon..I would...but I've digressed...

Have a happy 4th of july everyone be safe...we will be at seaworld this weekend, and back to busch gardens or the beach on the 4th.

That is quite the Christmas list! But with young ones, it is SO much fun.

Well, we made it, safe and sound and no worse for the wear. Traffic was heavier on the Ohio turnpike but the rest of it was all headed north - will be about the same Monday, they will all be headed south as we drive north.

Good morning

going to be a hot day here...high in the 90's....going to complete some work down in our family room...left off things that needed to be put back together after the carpet instaallation last week....and a little running around but nothing much after that.

The rest of the weekend, just gioing to hang out here and relax....the next few days are going to fly by.....

HOT and MUGGY here in Elyria - good thing I don't want to do anything outside today. I am going to visit a very dear friend from high school this afternoon - saw her at the rest stop Friday night on the way here. I can not get over how weird it was but I am so happy it happened.

Dad is doing OK - we went out to dinner last night and he managed pretty well. He also managed a shower this morning - difficult task when on oxygen all the time. Still pretty scary.

I also manged to complete my check-in today. I could not even access it on Friday and it was super slow going today but it is done. Must be all I have to do is pack!

Well just made a batch of potato salad, then going to make some baked beans....we are going to throw some brats and italian sausage on the grill today....should be a good dinner.

Sent out my final payment on friday....I cant make ressies until the end of the month, but I cant wait....

Happy July 4th! Hope you all had a grand time. Got home late this afternoon, bag is empty and the washing machine is running. Leaving today was difficult - and actually harder on my Mom than on my Dad. I said my goodbyes - I just hope I get to say them again - and again and again.

Enjoy - and tomorrow is Tuesday, I just wonder how many times I will think, act or say it is Monday.

I also did a bit of wandering in Michaels while in Ohio and I think I know what the FE gift will be - I think anyway. Need to get DH onboard with it since he will be responsible for part of it but I think it will be good with him as well.

hello everyone...my boys and I went to seaworld saturday and had a ball..the new One Ocean show is awesome. Miguel and Manuel might grow up to be marine biologists...the baby was pointing and clapping at the dolphins and whales..it was pretty cool...I actually did not take alot of pictures that day..it was sort of a picture free day...as for sunday and monday we just lounged around...I wasn't feelin too well (headache/earache)...just a lot of personal stress lately..really need a vacation...

I looked through the thread and didn't see anything...anybody know if they're moving formal night since it falls on Halloween? We're gold so I can book Palo on July 16 and I'd really like to know of any changes before I book.

I called Disney today and they (somewhat unfriendly) cast member told me they don't change formal night for holidays...but two other times, I've called and been told they just don't have the information yet.

I bet they do not know yet what they are doing. I am platinum and booked our brunch and dinner (pirate night) last week but would have been happy to book it Monday night if I thought they would really change it. It would require a brunch rebook but I could handle that since I have changed it once already.

And sorry you got mixed up with someone that was less than Disneylike. It amazes me how many of them there actually are. Did you call the regular line or the Castaway Club line? I am not so sure that would make much of a difference.

Well, I called the CC number and got a very pleasant - very Disneylike guy - one of the best cast members I think I have ever spoken with, as well as someone that has been on the ships. He asked me if I was going to dress up and I said - for Halloween or Formal as it is the same night! He laughed and looked to verify and he said nothing was noted for the 31st other than formal night. So, my guess is, they are not that ahead with the schedules yet. Makes it pretty difficult to plan but, based on what I have seen in the reservations, stuff is pretty wide open.

So we got to book our stuff on Thursday at 11pm our time. I think it was at about 11:02 pm when I realized I'm way more excited about this cruise than my wife. As I was trying to determine if 11 or 11:30am was the best time for Palo brunch and if we should do it on the 1st or second sea day, I looked over at her, and she was sound asleep. Sleep???How can you sleep? The cruise is only 4 months away! We have to pick the 'right' time and day for brunch! I guess she just doesn't get it.

Booked brunch for the second sea day, and booked our Cozumel excursion (San Gervasio ruins and Mexican Culture Park). We'll do the Old Towne Trolley tour on our own in Key West, Boatswains on our own in GC, and a plain old no plan beach day for CC.

I just found out the Blonde Giraffe has closed in Key West. Now where do I get my frozen chocolate covered Key Lime Pie on a stick? Aaarrgghh!

I think my head is going to explode long before this cruise sets sail!

We are doing brunch on Monday at 11:30. I had originally booked Sunday (reminder to those that still want to book brunch - it is available on Sunday since we don't dock in Key West until early afternoon as well as Monday and). We are also doing dinner on Wednesday at 8:00.

No comment on the trial mess - I actually wonder if she even understands any of it as it appears to me that she is the only one that counts. Wonder what I would have said had I wanted to say something???

Sailworkless - do you have the website so you can purchase your trolley tickets ahead of time and get a bit of a discount? If not, let me know and I will post it. As far as the lack of excitement - DH is just along for the ride (for the most part anyway), I can do pretty much as I please for meals, excursions, airfare and all. His motto is, lay out my clothes and tell me when I have to be somewhere. Nice that he rolls with my wishes but still leaves me with the 'work' of doing all the planning.

So, it is hump day already - love 4 day weeks!!
