We were thinking of flying in on October 30 but hate for 5 year daughter to miss trick-or-treating on 31st. Looks like MK has an event but likely to be very crowded since 31st a weekend. Also, not sure when tickets are sold and where to get them. Are there other events in the hotels on the 31st?

Anyone with experience at these Mickeys Not so Scary events that would care to offer some advice?

Are we better off starting vacation on Nov 1/Nov 2 during value hotel season? Would second week of November be a better choice crowd wise?

Halloween night for MNSSHP usually sells out. The dates for the even were announced in April last year. You will need to have a ticket to get into the park as well as a separate ticket for the evnt itself. It is a blast for both young and old alike. Last year I was not feeling well so sat and watched the parade with a great almost 80 yo woman there with her grandchildren for a visit. Such nice people you meet when you least expect it! We have gone alone the past two years but miss the kids so much we will be taking them this year, but prior to the 31st. We have gone in Nov. as well and the only thing I can think of to avoid is going Veteran's Weekend, may be a little more crowded. I am not sure if any of the hotels hold any events or not! Hope this helps.
