Dinner looked DELISH!!!
And glad to see the Birthday cake
everyone needs a Birthday cake!!

Thanks for the great Food Porn!!! as Rosie would say-see Rosie I do pay attention!:cool2:

Oh, my gosh, you will be there in a week! Have a fun trip and try to stay clear of a certain princess ;)! She has given you enough trouble as it is!!
And go for that pork sandwich ......... it is wonderful!
I read your blog about bringing home the latest addition to your family! What a wonderful thing to do! What a lucky little girl!
I am not going to avoid Ms. White. In fact, I am determined to get a picture of myself with her for my next trip report! :thumbsup2

And thank you for the kind words on our adoption! We will be making two trips to St Petersburg, Russia in the process. I wish we could find flights that connected us through Austria! Would love to say hello, and get to visit the bakery in Linz you have talked about. We don't have bakeries like that here in Tennessee!

I've had that zooberry drink before. . . I could go for one right now. And I think I will have to eat at both Flying Fish and Blue Zoo this fall, every review I read for either one just has me changing my mind on which one to eat at, so both is the only decision. :lmao:

Just catching up again, my that food looks so good:thumbsup2

Great news for you on OKW for both parts of your summer trip! ADR list looks yummy too.....looking forward to lots more drooling please...:)

Karin - We really enjoyed meeting y'all too! That bartender at ESPN had me cracking up in that picture and yep I've got quite a few shots of his shirt.:rotfl2:

Your meal at bluezoo looked amazing, glad y'all enjoyed it!:thumbsup2

Even thinking of that bartender makes me :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We really LOVED bluezoo - thanks for your :thumbsup2 on it when we met. Our expectations were definitely met!

Great Update and Dis Meet Karin !!!! I hope we get to meet some day!!!

The Zooberries were SO yummy! You HAVE to try one or two ;), :lmao:!
We were so stunned because of the cake! His birthday wasn't even during that week, but when I made my reservations (over the phone because their system was down AGAIN that day), the CM asked if we were celebrating or if there was a special reason we did this trip and I told her it was kind of to celebrate his birthday. She made a note of it on the reservation! I paid closer attention lateron, :lmao:

If you're not going to avoid Ms. White, please be careful! She IS German! :rotfl2:

Maybe you could fit in a few "rest" days in Austria! There is LOTS to see and we have more to offer than just one bakery! Think about it! ;)

Another great review!! :thumbsup2 My mouth is watering now! :goodvibes

We cannot wait to try Flying Fish this summer! Don't worry about changing your mind - it's part of Disney planning :rotfl2:! I have NEVER changed my mind so often than until I really started Disney planning! :lmao:

Great Blue Zoo review and your ADR's look great, congrats on getting what you wanted :)

You need to give BlueZoo a try one day, it's out of this world, just steer clear of the crab mac and cheese! :lmao:
I am SO happy with my ADRs, now come on Disney, change your park hours again, so I can start all over again (they did that 2 weeks before we left for our February trip :scared1:)

Can you believe I forgot to order the Zooberry drink! I had read so much about it and just ordered ice tea, wonder why I did that because I love to drink at WDW!

Gives me an excuse to go back and get my drink on!

Karin, anxiously awaiting a new update.

Day 4, Feb 16

Crystal Palace

We started our day early. We had an appointment for breakfast at the Crystal Palace. We had tried to do that several times, but never ever made it there.
So we headed out the room at 7.20 and drove over to the Magic Kingdom. There ware hardly any cars going for the parking lot and we scored a great spot to park our car.

Right opposite the underpass to the Ticket and Transportation Center. We didn't even need to board a tram.
Once at the Ticket and Transportation Center we headed for the Monorail. Only the resort monorail was running at that time, so we hopped on the first one.
We were at the Magic Kingdom in plenty of time, spotted the turnstile for breakfast guests and went in line until we were allowed in. It didn't take long and we were on our way up Main Street.
It was nice to see it nearly empty and we really enjoyed it.

Once at the hub it was rather easy to even score photos of the castle with no people in it!

When we tried to take photos of each other in front of the castle, a very nice cast member came by and offered to take one of the two of us!

And by then it was time for us to make our way over to the

for our breakfast ADR. It was one of those cold days and the check in computer on the outside gave the cast members trouble, so another cast member with a hand held computer helped out. It took about 5 minutes until our name was called and we were shown to our table.
Our very nice and attemptive server was on hand within seconds. Tom ordered some coffee and I had some orange juice and some

hot tea. And was very impressed with the selection they offered!

With our drinks on the table it was time to hit the buffet.

IMG_4252.jpg

Tom's first plate - a bagel, nice and fresh and cream cheese, some bacon and sausages, potato casserole and a bit of fritatta.

.

My first plate - some bacon, regular stuff and sausage, nothing special either, breakfast potato casserole. Now that stuff was heavily undercooked and the potatoes were still crunchy. One bite and the rest was left on the plate. Scrambled eggs, nice and soft, a heavenly Mickey waffle, some orange segment, that were nice and fresh, a tasty ripe strawberry and some fresh, tasty and juicy pineapple chunks.

While we were enjoying our food these guys came by!

IMG_4253.jpg

Tigger!

IMG_4255.jpg

and Piglet!

There were still a few things we had not sampled, or not had enough of, so we went back to the buffet for a second helping.

IMG_4256.jpg

My second plate - starting with the raved about puffed french toast - which did nothing for me - maybe my expectations were too high, but this was just like a bit of fried dough. More pineapple and another strawberry, some corned beef hash and breakfast potatoes, which were both very yummy, some of the fritatta and another Mickey waffle and a doughnut hole to top it all off!

Tom's second plate. Puffed french toast, a bagel with cream cheese, some fritatta, breakfast potatoes, corned beef hash, bacon and sausage.

Once we had finished our meal Tom took a few photos of the characters made of roses at the entrance and then we headed outside.

It was time for some park fun. The park had just opened to the public and we were on our way to ride some rides.

Next up - lunch at the Plaza

Don't you just love Piglet? I'm sorry you didn't care for the puffed french toast -- it is one of my favorites (I was disappointed in the potato casserole last time too...it wasn't as good as in the past).

Love the pic of Tom with Tigger.

Yay CP, yummy look choices and how nice that you got some visitors to welcome you to MK on that lovely brisk morning :)
