September 17 - 28 are the dates we have the condo (although we can alter them a little bit). I don't really think Disney will happen, but Marco will be so much fun with Nicki and Todd. Fulton's was left off because with being in Marco we'll have plenty of fish places to go and we usually do Fulton's every other year.

I always stop at this stand...it is my cappucino of the afternoon when he hit this area. Looking forward to hearing about Liberty Tree Tavern.

Oh my gosh - we are going to miss you by just 6 days!! :scared1: We are flying home on Sept 11! Any chance you "might" tweak your dates a little? ;) Here's to a hefty tax return!!!!
Maybe Nicki and Todd could have a long weekend at WDW too ;) - one can always dream! :cloud9:

We NEVER even noticed the stand until this day! But England was so empty so we just enjoyed looking around and voila, there it was. The coffee was good ......... it's not easy to find one that Tom actually enjoys. And it is the same with my tea :rotfl: I am just so spoiled getting really good tea from my aunt in Britain!

Thanks for the Coffee update Karin !!! I agree it was hot drink weather !!

It definitely was, especially in the morning! ;) We did have some other drinks as well, lateron in the day, so stay tuned! :goodvibes

I noticed that espresso stand for the first time on our recent trip...but I had a hankering for beer and fish & chips at that point so hit the OTHER stand in the UK! :drinking1 Plus, I had already enjoyed a hot beverage at Norway a couple hours earlier...the Viking Coffee!

Good to know the hot drinks are good at that stand. Next time...

So did we - I never noticed it until this time! :lmao:
There were lots more drinks that day and beer was one of them! :lmao:

Still Day 6, February 18

Lunch at the Liberty Inn

Once World Showcase had opened we headed towards Mexico - we still had some time left before we were supposed to go back to Hollywood Studios and we wanted to check out the new La Cave de Tequila. Unfortunately they were still closed and no one seemed to know when they were to open. So we went on Boatride, but after getting off it was still not open so we decided to maybe check back later.

Right then we decided that maybe we should just stay at Epcot and not go back to the Studios and do some "eating around the world" and skip our reservation at the Grand Floridian for the Garden View Tea Room.
We marched around the world and finally headed towards America to try out the Liberty Inn.

Since we wanted to sample a few different places we shared our meal.
We ordered a large Diet Coke and ..........

a side of Chili to share. It was different from what we are used to as Chili, very much on the mild and sweet side, but it was nice with the crackers.

We also had a Pulled Pork Sandwich with coleslaw. Now that was really delish! The pork was mixed with sauce and very well seasoned. There was LOTS of meat in the sandwich. The coleslaw was awesome. My only complaint would be the bun - it fell to pieces when we tried to cut into it. I wish they would get some decent buns that don't crumble by just looking at them. ;) :rotfl2:

They also had some dessert on the menu that really interested me. So we tried it.

The Rocky Road Chocolate Brownie Mousse. If you like it sweet - this is for you! I really enjoyed the first few bites, esp. since there were nice bits of brownie and lots of little Marshmallows in it. Tom only had a spoonful and decided this was way too sweet for him and I had to give up after about half of it.
But it was a nice change to the chocolate cake, apple crisp and carrot cake that is offered at so many other CS places.

We spent a little time checking out the Heritage Shop before we walked over to Japan

Next up - another shared CS meal at the Yakitori House

I love Liberty Inn !! My favorite is the roast beef sandwich !! I am an aplle pie gal and theirs is delish!! Great update Karin as always !!!

I wish we could...as I'd rather go a week or so earlier. But, unfortunately, Mark has a trade show in town and he can't go at that time.

A lot of people hate the Liberty Inn. But we've eaten there a number of times and we've enjoyed our meals there. We definitely prefer it over Electric Umbrella or Pecos Bills.

Two great updates :thumbsup2

That pulled pork sandwich looks so good and that Rocky Road Chocolate Brownie Mousse looks soooooooo good :)

We have always walked right by it, ;) but since we were on a mission to try new things we thought we'd give it a try and were so surprised! We really enjoyed it. :goodvibes

We actually never even bothered to look at their menu - wasn't it one of those "McD" restaurants? :confused3 I always thought it was, but we were so surprised by their food and really loved it. I am not a fan of the Electric Umbrella, but we have had some nice meals at Pecos Bills. ;)

Thanks - the Liberty Inn is one you should consider for September! :thumbsup2 I am not trying to talk you into trying anything "English" :rotfl:

That meal from the Liberty Inn looks delicious! I would probably just take the bun off and eat the pulled pork with a fork. :lmao: The coleslaw looks amazing as well, I love my coleslaw! Those buns are just ridiculous. I understand the nice gesture by WDW to try to help make/keep us healthy but really, does it have to taste like cardboard and crumble like bread crumbs when we touch it??? :confused3

That's exactly what we did - ate the meat with a fork and just included some of the crumbs. :lmao:

 It is tempting just for that Rocky Road, but planning right now what restaurants and parks is really hard this year and I don't know why :confused3 as on the last two trips it was easy.

I know EXACTLY what you mean ........ :rotfl:
We had the same problems - even though we knew what restaurants we wanted to go to we had a hard time fitting everything in with the park hours. I still have to tweak it to get the preferred fireworks viewings in - we have two of each :scared1:
But then there is always online ADRs so you and I can change things around! ;)

Thank god its not just us. For some reason I was looking at the what we had down so far and I just didn't feel right about it, but I couldn't quite put my finger on why :confused3

How are you doing so far? Me and DF have pretty much put in roughly what we are doing each day and what restaurants, we just have two more full days to place.

I have just done the restaurants based on what park we will be at for that evening (EMH). I am going to do a more detailed plan soon, but we have actually been making plans for our 2011 summer vacation! :lmao: this weekend.

Woah, you're eager beavers aren't you  But I suppose you can never start too early for Disney planning.

We really liked Liberty Inn, too!! We'll probably try a different CS in Epcot for our next trip, just for variation's sake, but we wouldn't hesitate to stop in if we were close by!

Wow, I just finished reading all of your reviews. Awesome job!! Love the pics and the details. You have inspired me to to do some reviews on our upcoming trip.

We are looking forward to some 1sts on this trip including staying at CSR and having breakfast @ 8:05 @ CP just as you recently did. Were you in the CP the entire time until the park opened? If you finish before 9 where do you go?

Glad you had a great time!! :goodvibes

I can answer this. We always do an 8:05 ADR at CP when we go. We are usally done eating around 8:40 or so (we don't always wait around for all of the characters as two adults) and we walk over to the rope by Fantasyland (through the castle) and wait there for the park to officially open to start getting on attractions or we walk along Main Street and go through the shops which are already open.

Thanks for the quick responses for this one and the one about the gift.

We are two adults as well and I thought it might be nice to walk along Main Street without many people before the park opened if it was possible. It is a great perk that I cannot believe we have never done before. I do not think I realized you could enter early for breakfast until our last trip.

So one day we have 8:05 @ CP and another day we have 8:15 @ Donald's at AK. Should be fun. :cheer2:

As always, thanks for the help!!!! :goodvibes

Eager beaver - need to remember that one! :lmao: I am always out to get some new phrases to throw at my pupils! :rotfl:

Last year we were just overwhelmed while on the cruise and when we decided to rebook on board we had very little knowledge of prices and dates, so this year as I AM going to rebook we need to check out ALL our possiblities, so this is the reason for early planning.

We really liked Liberty Inn, too!! We'll probably try a different CS in Epcot for our next trip, just for variation's sake, but we wouldn't hesitate to stop in if we were close by!

I guess we will go back in August - the food was really yummy. We have done most of the CS in WS and so far have yet to find one we DIDN'T like at all! Have you tried the sandwiches in Norway yet? YUMMO!!!!!!

Thanks for reading! :goodvibes and thanks for the positive feedback! I will be on the lookout for your reviews, how long do you stay?

You are SO going to love CSR! It's wonderful! We LOVED it there!
As for CP - our ADR was for 8.05 and we checked in at 8am sharp. It took about 10 minutes until we actually sat at a table. And we did not leave until 9am - I guess this is a European thing, we take our sweet time eating! ;) :lmao:
When we left we took a few photos of the castle from outside CP and walked right over to Adventureland which had just opened.
