Happy Monday team! Not much of import to report - I caught a cold on the weekend but after talking with people at the office this morning, it seems like a lot of other people did too. In a way, it might be a good thing - it's going to force me to take it easy this week. My knee isn't too bad but it's not 100% and I want it to be better for Sunday. So I think no more running Sunday. I'm going to have my physio look at it tonight and hopefully he can do something. Otherwise, I'll just have it taped up at expo
Liz & Mike - Happy anniversary!!
Elizabeth - Glad to hear that you had fun with your daughter at the race this weekend! On the days when I don't feel like getting out to run, I usually think of all the people who want to run but can't. That usually gives me motivation.
Kim - Congrats on your 1/2! Do you have pictures of the medal? I don't think I've ever come across an easy hill

I am so looking forward to Friday! I was telling someone who's registered for the 5K that I'm jealous of their later start time. I think I'll be up before 5AM eating my breakfast.
Dave - Congrats on your race as well! And yay for the lack of PF issues! Did Sally do the half with you or was she just cheering you on?
Regina - Don't worry about losing your running stamina! The first couple of runs you do after your break might be a bit "sluggish" but after that, you'll get right back into it. I take 2 week breaks all the time during training and nothing happens. If you were off for a month, I'd worry a little bit. Eva and I had that problem with the WISH shirts last year. They are way too short! There's suppose to be another shirt order starting up but I haven't heard anything about it.
Mike - You've got lots of races planned! The 15K sounds fun! Well, I'm a big fan of chocolate so anytime chocolate's involved ...
Scott/Lynn - Where are you guys off to now? Safe travels!!
Margie - Love the daily quotes too! The 8 miler was pretty good. Pacing was a little slow because of the knee and my cold. I didn't have as much energy as I would have liked but I'm telling myself that I'm saving it all for Sunday! Glad to hear the repair to your car wasn't a huge expense. I know sometimes repairs can get out of hand sometimes. Did Hagen get to see any firetrucks or firemen during the fire drill?
Sue - How was the cottage? Did you have a relaxing weekend or was it a lot of work to close things up for the season?
Eva - How's your training going for W&D?
Have a great day everyone!
