Oh, the magnets!
I'll take Poppins and Marc will have the turkey leg. Not really. Not since he got pooped on by all of those birds while eating one in Frontierland....
Actually some of those magnets came home with me this time...
We're so surprised.
I got John the turkey leg one for a souvenir one time. I saw a Small World one somewhere on something this weekend, so that might move to first choice for me.
I look forward to reading about new and different at Sea World.
It could be a few months, since Sea World was on the far end of the trip.
I love the feel and music loops of Adventureland. One of my favorite ways to end a Disney night is to journey over there really late at night and go on the Jungle Cruise once
or twice
You have amazing self-control for going to MK and not riding anything.
I was not at all tempted to ride anything, because that is not fun for me without Jill and the girls. What I
did want to do is to stay longer and walk around and take pictures, but I really felt wrong about doing that. It's one thing when they can go to the parks and have just gone back to the room for the night, but they couldn't go into the parks, so that made me sad and made me feel bad about getting to be there.
Jungle Cruise has a different feel to it at night, for sure!
You waste space with a half gallon of milk???
Hmmm....... I love a good scrabble challenge!!!
Nice tour of CBR, Pop and AoA.....even the shopping. I'll take the Squeeze Me magnet!
I have to agree, I think the new mine train ride will be a hit! They've really made a lot of progress!
We have been known many times to have a gallon of milk in a styrofoam cooler. The girls eat cereal sometimes for breakfasts before we head out to parks. That allows us to hit rides and shows and get a lot in before they are ready to stop for a mid-morning muffin or fruit or something. I will make this note about the Pop refrigerators: they are not super cold. The milk would really be better off in ice in a cooler, in my opinion. The fridge was fine for keeping cheese slices and salad cooled, but as far as having good cold milk, having it sitting in an ice bath was much more effective.
Hi!

Sorry I'm late, but I'm very happy to be here! I missed all of the last report

I'll have to go back and read it at some point. I'm determined to keep up this time I missed my DIS friends!
And I'm late on this too, but congrats to Trent and Brandi
Your pictures are making me miss Disney. It feels like I haven't been there in a really long time, but it was just a few months ago. I think it's because that whole trip was kind of a surreal blur It happened so fast since we booked it less than two weeks in advance. And we were both sick. My mom was sick before we left, and she was fine by the third day. I caught something on the plane, which kicked in right after my mom got better, and I was sick the rest of the trip It didn't slow us down too much though. We still had a great time
Understandably, you were and are busy with school. That's the way it should be. We are always glad when you get the chance to stop in and visit us here, though.
I get homesick for WDW every time I put up a new set of pictures.

Will you be making a Winter 2014 trip?
If you play Words with Friends, my name is almost the same as here...Disneybelle9........I had too many games going a few months ago, so I slowed down, but then got Candy Cru****is! Now I am trying to back off of that! Candy Crush
I think it is quite fun that you produced an ugly word that got *****ed out because the space bar didn't catch.

Naughty girl!
I do not play Candy Crush, Farmville, Words With Friends, or any other games. I barely keep up with real life and then a little DIS time and enough FB time to keep up with friends I don't get to see often. FB also keeps me up with the newest things going on in Disney World, since I almost always know someone who is on their way, is there presently, or has just left. Gives me a great Disney fix pretty much constantly.
Somehow I missed a few updates...now I'm caught up. Enjoyed dinner at CBR. I love that place, and would have been happy to stay there again. However, I'm making the kids happy, so we are staying at their choice - POFQ. That slide just looks like too much fun to them. Lol!
I saw a few magnets I wanted, the Tiki birds win for me. I love getting magnets because they are a cheap and I can pick out a couple of them and they make me happy at home.
Brooklynn loves the POFQ pool! She asks when we are going back there.
Magnets are cheap and useful souvenirs.
I said it on FB, but for those who didn't know it here - Happy Anniversary to you and Ben!
I am loving this virtual window shopping! I love Disney mercy, even though I hardly buy any! I just love it! And I love the tours of resorts and what not...counting down the days!
There will be many, many, many more shopping pictures in this report. Since we didn't do parks, we did a lot of Disney shopping while we were on Disney property. Well, mostly window shopping - not much buying - but that is still fun.
Lots of fun updates filled with great shopping pics!!! Oh boy I want one of those paintbrush pens-sooo cute.
The more I look at that picture, the more I wish I had one to go through in-service meetings with next week.

But like I said before, sometimes Disney pens are really not that good, so we need to get Anita's review on the quality.
Hi all, hope everyone had a nice weekend!
I wanted to post a few quick pictures from Caroline and I at the American Girl store in Chicago - very fun, we had a great time, and as you'll see by the third picture she was tired out! (I was too!!)
With Kirsten; she kept telling the waitresses that it was the doll's birthday too!
The birthday cake: we did the Birthday Girl package and it was awesome - I was very impressed. We took that cake home to her mom, dad and sister, had it for dessert that night AND dessert at lunch today, and there is still some left over!!
This was the "after" picture: One tired girl!
Thanks for letting me hijack, MeMom and Jill!

Have a great night, everyone!
Thanks for sharing. No hijack apology needed. We are glad that you guys had this sweet, special time together. We need to take the girls to the AG Store in Atlanta one of these days.
Oh boy, Katie, I'll say she was tired. So were those sunglasses! They were sleeping all the way down her little face.
I can't believe how she has grown up before our eyes!
Won't it be fun when she and Aunt Katie do a few days in Disney World together?
