My daughters keep talking about wanting to get their hair braided while on vacation. Do they do hair braiding by the pool at the RPR? I know that they do it in Sea World (pretty pricey) but if they do it by the pool as least we can relax by the pool with a drink in hand :drinking1 while they get it done.

Thanks

D :wave2:

I'm sure they probably do. My daughter had it done in March at HRH and there were tons of kids with it done at US and IOA. I'm sure all three resorts must have braiding available.

I remember seeing a woman doing wraps and braids by the pool on the left side as we entered. This was over a year ago and she was charging $25.00. I watched her do some, looked really nice...I always wanted to try it out, think I will next trip! :cutie:

My daughter had in done at HRH from a young guy. With tip it was $30 but it lasted better than a week.

We just returned from Easter week at RPH and they were braiding hair everyday. Might I suggest the Witch Doctor for sipping while you wait? :drinking:

Do they do wrapping too? In my opinion this is a better value. My DD and I have oth had this done, and it lasts for a month. Can't wait to do it again! :cool1:

Thanks for your help. Maybe when we take a break in the afternoon the girls can get their hair done and we can sip tropical drinks by the pool :cool1: Since they have been saving their own money to get this done I think it is a win-win situation for us

was there easter break and they did hairwrapping everyday at the pool at rpr but the person who braids was not there everyday. My daughter had it done at Universal right across from MIB and it ranged from $50 to $150, i don't know what they were charging for hair wraps.

My DD wanted to have this done last summer but to get a whole head braid (I'm not sure what you call it) would have been well over $200. They wanted $50 to do ONE braid on one side. OUCH!!! Needless to say we skipped that activity!

Those prices are nuts! :faint: $50.00 a braid, guess I wont be having it done after all. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes, it gets expensive, they charge by the inch and for every bead they use. It seems from these posts that it costs more in the park, versus someone doing it by a pool. The idea of someone wanting their whole head done is just nuts. One braid stands out enough, and some schools won't let the kids come to class with it in. So you may want to make sure the school will allow it, then visit a couple places, check prices, then tell your daughter you'll think about it.

That's why you'll need that drink at the pool, more like a six pack in this case.

Ouch!! Maybe they'll think twice about getting it done seeing that they are using their own money to pay for it.

I thought getting it done by the pool would be better than getting it done in one of the parks that way we didn't waste time waiting around for them and waste valuable ride time playing beauty school. I'd much rather spend my time and money on a nice frosty drink.

just to clarify, i paid $50 for the whole top of the head for my daughter. when you pay by the inch thats hair wrapping
