Hair Braiding at Disney's Vero Beach??

Hi Everyone!

We'll be going to Vero Beach in June and was wondering if they have hair braiding at the pool???

I thought I read somewhere that they have the hair wraps (strand of hair with colored string/beads) but do they also have hair braiding (island braids/corn rows)??

I've had it done at GF and enjoyed it but thought I would do it at Vero if they had it and the price was the same or less than GF ($55 + tip)
...if not, I can have it done at GF before heading to Vero.

I was only there once and it was 2 summers ago, but at that time they did do it. I had my daughters hair done, the women was by the pool and you made the ressie with her.

We are going to Vero for a few nights pre-cruise this summer and was hoping to get her hair braided before we sailed. I love the way she looks with it!

Thanks! Do you recall how much it is? It's $55 at GF (without beads and I'm not sure they even do it with beads) but if it's cheaper or right on with what GF cost, I might just wait and have it done at the beach!!

Just be very careful where you have it done! We had our girl's hair done in the Bahamas while on the Disney cruise and they got a horrible case of headlice which cost us $700 to have removed professionally when we returned home! Never again for us!!

We werethere in sept at vb and I did not see it. We did have some nasty tropical storms though and the pool was closed for a chunk of our trip

My GD had her done in cornrows in May 2009 when we were there. She loved it and it was super easy to take care of. We just had to make sure her scalp did not get sunburned afterwards.

My DD had her hair braided at VB last August. The lady did an awesome job. She was stationed at the pool, by the Eb & Flo's window. Sorry, I don't remember the cost.

We are going to VB in June as well and my daughter would LOVE to have her hair braided with beads (she had the hair wrap done at WVL and loved it). I am not familiar with the terminology- maryrn11168- are those considered corn rows? That is exactly how I would like DD's done- so cute!!!

The pic posted is of corn rows. Hair wraps is one strand of hair that is covered with string and beads at the bottom (what you got at WVL). I might have to call to see how much it is because if it's cheaper at GF, I'll go there but they don't do the beads like in the picture. I'll let everyone know the cost if I'm able to find out how much it is!
