I am using Patricia Leujune (sp?) for myself and my 8 bridesmaids and I was wondering how her set up was when she comes to your room? Does she bring a chair, does she have assistants?? Will we be able to fit in a regular room at the GF if we take turns?
Hiya!
I honestly don't know how large the rooms are in GF, but this was my experience...
She did a hair and makeup trial for me a few days before the wedding in my hotel room at All -Star Movies and she seemed a little cramped.
Because it would have been chaos in there on our wedding day, I booked a small conference room (Salon III) in the Boardwalk Inn's Convention Center. I only had to pay for the cost of food ($250 for lunch for 10- this will vary) to rent the room from 10 AM until 11 PM. The room was about 25' x 50' and was furnished with 4 small tables and about 16 chairs.
Patricia did hair for 5 of us (me, 3 of my 4 bridesmaids and my mom) and makeup for all 6 of us. She had an assistant ( I think her name was Larissa, I'm not 100% sure though) and she only brought a special lamp (there were no windows) and her makeup and hair styling tools.
She used the chairs we had there and it seemed to work well that everyone was there at the same time. Sue from Carolyn Allen's steamed my dress and veil in one corner of the room. Everyone hung their dresses in another corner. My mom ironed with an iron and ironing board we borrowed from the BWI staff. And Patricia and Larissa were in another corner of the room doing their thing.
Larissa would curl one girl's hair while Patricia did another's makeup, then they would switch and Patricia would finish styling the first girl's hair, while Larissa would start prepping another girl's hair. They continued alternating like that for about 5 1/2 hours. My hair and makeup was done last.
That being said, I am sure she has plenty of experience working in a variety of Disney Hotels with a variety of group sizes.
I think you should email her and see what she thinks. She can let you know how many people should be there at one time.
