Hey everyone! I promise to have my next update before next week. I am actually going to Florida next weekend with my 2 BFF's!! Yay!!! We have been BFF's for 28 years!

for having lifetime BFFs. I have 3 of my own and know how important they are, and how great to having a BFF trip.

Okay, now to some news. We are NOT going to Disney in September for the adult's only birthday trip with his mom. My mom is gonna be in training and there is no possible way she can take off work and watch the girls. So, we told his mom we either had to take them or we couldn't go.
Basically she pitched one and got mad and said we were cancelling. SO, for the past couple of days we have heard it!! lol Oh well!! I am still looking forward to my girls trip to Disney in October! [/FONT]

School starts very early in Georgia - isn't it crazy hot? are the schools there usually air conditioned? I'm glad Hollie had a great first day....it certainly makes it easier when our children like school!

We have a friend with a condo on the beach so they'll rent to us for $50/night Sept - May and $75/night June - Aug...what a great deal!

I'll take pictures next week when I have everything in place. Right now I'm probably at 60% finished. I had the camera with me to take pictures of what was completed, but I discovered I had not put the memory card back in from loading pictures this past weekend. Silly me.

Where do you stay at in Panama City? We haven't been in about 7 years and when I priced out hotels, they were so expensive. I remember when you could get a hotel for around $75.00/night on the beach. Now it seems like it is all condos and I am not familiar PCB anymore.

We usually stay at either a few condos (Moonspinner, Watercrest) that we know of or a select few hotels.
Oh I remember that too!!! I also remember you could ride down the strip and see the ocean. Now there are just big rises! lol

So glad to hear Hollie had a first day at school!

And HOORAY for a girlfriends trip! That will be fantastic - enjoy doing....NOTHING!

It sure does start early! I remember when it used to start after Labor Day. Now, the first part of August! They are air conditioned thank goodness! Its the outside play that gets me but they don't let them stay out very long. Maybe 15 minutes

Okay, here comes the moment you all have been waiting for!!! Another part of my trip name!!

Today was to be our Magic Kingdom day. We had reservations at Crystal Palace at 8:05 am. I made sure we all knew to get up early and get to the bus stop early. If this picture doesn't tell you what is coming up, then nothing will!

The way that Hollie is treated, I will never understand the attraction of wanting to be right beside her. She favors Hannah and the entire trip she was very ill towards Hollie and had no patience with her. Ugh!

We arrive at MK and get going towards CP!

I check us in and we sat down. I of course, took a few pictures:

We made it inside and I fixed Hollie's plate. Then I went and made mine to share with Hannah!

My sweet girl is just like her mama and loves Tigger!

Hollie was telling Tigger, "Um, I think your squeezing my mom and sister too tight!" lol

It was time for the parade around the room and Tigger grabbed my sweet girls hand!

Now, the entire time during breakfast, MIL didn't say one word. Usually when she gets down eating, she grabs Hannah. Not this time. She sat there with her arms across her chest the entire time with a look on her face. I am sure some of you know....The look Well, Hollie asked her a few questions and she just ignored her. I was trying to give Hannah her bottle and also eat at the same time (which I didn't take but 3 bites this time! lol). There was something wrong and believe me, I knew it was about to come to a head!

So we are sitting there and I am helping Hollie with something and MIL throws her purse on the table. Looks at Chad and I and says, "Okay, its obvious I have done something to ya'll. So I am gonna go back to the room so you 4 can have your little family vacation. Ya'll have not spoken to me all morning long and I know ya'll are mad about something. Ya'll have not asked me one time if I wanted my picture with any of the characters in here. Ya'll are just ignoring me and if I could go home right now I would!"

I had had IT!!!!! I looked at her, rolled my eyes and said, "Oh here we go again!! Its always something we done, right? We are not mad...YET! Your the one sitting there not saying anything acting like your not enjoying breakfast. I think your being ridiculous and I am NOT gonna deal with this today!"

chirp chirp chirp....you could hear the birds chirping!

Chad just sat there and kind of did a smirky laugh to himself. Then he just looked at her and was like, "What are you talking about? Your the one sitting there not talking. I am sitting here drinking coffee and enjoying watching my kids meet the characters."

Thank goodness Hollie had tuned us out. She was sitting there just as happy as a lark and singing to herself. I turned my attention away from the person who always needs attention and started talking to Hollie. I was OVER IT!!!

WE got up and left. It was just ridiculous and so uncalled for. But, like I have said before....we are used to it!

I went outside and was getting the strollers and I told Chad, tell her not to let the gate hit her in the tush on the way out!! lol

She ended up staying but you could tell on Chad's face and mine, we were done and that kind of ruined my morning for me.

So we headed to FantasyLand so Hollie could ride Snow White's Adventure

Next was Dumbo

I do have to say, I have a MIL that totally favors my younger DS too. She just has never 'taken' to older DS. It's so sad and I know it makes my Dh sad. We all notice it. And ya know what? Older DS is so into her and always is so polite to her and wants to do things with her. It kills me the way she ignores all that! I can relate to you!

How old is this woman? Hasn't she grown up enough already in life to realize people cannot read her mind? If she wanted her pictures taken with the characters, shouldn't she just have asked? Or perhaps, she could have said "good morning" if it was so important to her to have a conversation? Like you are even able to focus on another person when you have two fighting for your attention 24/7 already! I'm sure your last concern was how an adult, who should be able to take care of themselves, was doing! And someone did try to start a conversation with her--her GRANDDAUGHTER! Oh my, oh my. Okay, I need to stop...! LOL

I'm so sorry you had your morning partially ruined by her! How incredibly unfair to you and Chad--and the girls!
