I just realized that the water parks aren't included in our regular tickets that we purchased. We aren't planning on going until the 2nd to last day of our trip, will they let us add it then, and if they do will it cost as much? Right now it says it will cost around $75 to upgrade it for the whole 6 days, will it still cost that much if we upgrade later into the trip. Also, we are thinking of dropping the hopper option. If we decide to add it half way thru the trip would it be the same price or cost less to upgrade for just a few days?

Adding the water park fun will cost the same no matter when you add it.\\Cost is $61. per ticket card without hopping, $23. per ticket card with hopping, or you can exchange the hopping already on the ticket for the water park fun provided you hafve not yet hopped with it (no money changes hands).

Note that if the last theme park day was used yesterday or before, or the first theme park day was used more than 13 days ago, then you can't add more to the ticket. Please plan in advance.

And if you decide to add hopping later in your trip it costs the same. It is a flat fee- no savings to be had for only having it for part of your trip.

Both the Waterpark Fun & More option and the Parkhopper option are flat rate options that cost the same for all tickets that are two days or more. It will cost the same whether you upgrade on the first day of your trip or the 6th day of your trip. If you already have the hopper option, then adding the WPF&M option is only $22+tax per ticket, which is less than the cost of a one day waterpark ticket. If you don't have the hopper option but want to add the WPF&M option, then it is $57+tax per ticket, which is a few dollars more than a one day waterpark ticket.

If it's $75 each ticket to add the water park option, you're better off just buying water park tickets assuming you're only going to one water park for one day. It's $55.38 for each adult ticket and $46.86 for each child ticket. If you plan on going more than once, then I would say add the water park option.

ok thanks for the info :) We will probably just add the water park option when we get there. We wanted to have the option for DTD too. I'm still thinking about dropping the hopper so it may just even out anyway.

Since I'm thinking of dropping it, are there any places outside of MK or Epcot that we can see the fireworks or are they only possible to see from inside?

By option for DTD, I'm assuming you mean Disney Quest. There is no ticket required to go to DTD just to shop or eat at the restaurants.

You can see the MK fireworks from a few different places. The beach at the Poly is an excellent place and they pipe in the music.

Illuminations (the nighttime show at Epcot) is only partially fireworks. A large portion of the show is laser lights and other pyrotechnics that occur on the lagoon in Epcot and can't be seen from outside the park.

Yes I did mean quest, I couldn't remember the name LOL But we would need to buy a ticket for quest correct? If we did that though we would probably need to buy an additional pass day huh?

Waterparks and more option includes Disneyquest admission.

Once you are in disney quest is everything free or is it like a regular arcade where we would have to pay $ for each game?

I made the same mistake -- thanks so much to everyone for your posts. Very helpful!

1. Yes

2. No if you add the WPF&M to a 6 day ticket you get 6 admissions. Using a WPF&M admission does not use a park day.

All the games and attractions are included in the admission. The only things you pay for are food and extras like a DVD of your Cyberspace mountain ride.

Yes, Disney Quest requires a ticket and it is included with the WPF&M option. With a six day MYW + WPF&M ticket, you get six days to visit the major parks, plus 6 admissions to the WPF&M options.

There are a few things that are extra money, like getting a CD of your song from the Song Maker and getting a printout of drawings from the Living Easels. But most of it is included with admission.

If you want to see IllumiNations without going into Epcot for that day, there is the option of joining someone's IllumiNations pontoon cruise here on one of the DIS threads ... pontoon cruises are $325 for 10 people so many DISsers are looking to share and it could be as low as $32.50 per person, there's a thread on the Theme Parks Community board.
