Guys and their Crocs...with pics!

I can guarantee you that I look like a dork. Hey, I'm a 35 yr old fat white guy who writes software for a living, what do you want me to do? :)

But I don't care. I'm still not taking off my Crocs. And I even wear them with socks.

:thumbsup2 Let's see a pic!

We just got back from Hawaii and guys were wearing Crocs everywhere. As a matter of fact...I've never seen so many places selling Crocs. They have really gotten popular on the islands.

:rotfl2: My ds almost 13 has had a pair since last summer. he loved them wore them all summer long when school started back, he wanted to wear them and I admit I talked him out of it. I was afraid the kids would give him a hard time.

Well long and short story is he was SOOOO upset the first few days of school because he said his feet were killing him.( He hadn't worn shoes in soooo long)

anyway somehow a talk about Crocs ensues at school, and a teacher told him he would pay him $5 if he actually wore crocs in school. He did and the teacher paid up.

On a funny note my 2 little Ds's almost 7 have... 2 pairs Disney Crocs each, and 2 colored each and about $150 in Jibbitz between them. Saturday night I had all the crocs Lined up at the sink and was cleaning them. My DH comes in and does a double take. I guess he wasn't paying that much attention to the Croc frenzy here.....I can see him mentally calculating the amount of money I have spent..Seeing them all lined up puts it in a whole new light...LOL

He approaches the subject very gently,, How much are those? I say well...$ 30 for Disney $25 for regular???
WHAT???????
How much are the charm things??
Well I pay....2.50 and 3.00. you are freaking kidding me right? I just laughed and shrugged my shoulders. he didn't say to much after that but had a horrified look the rest of the night.

I this mancrocs would go really well with a pair of manpris.

My dad has a pair of the flip flop style (as does my mom). When my aunt and uncle came to visit, they both had the beach style, as do I and my grandma. Here's a pic of all of us. DH doesn't have any, but I'm thinking of getting him some navy ones for this summer.

L to R: my aunt, my uncle, my grandma, my mom, me and my dad

I wear mine all the time. Although, for the most part when I wear crocs outside, I wear the Athens (flip flops). Although, when i'm at WDW, I don't care what I look like, so i'll wear the Crocs Beach.

I think anyone is foolish to pass up a bet like that. I don't care what kind of man you are...they are just shoes! Comfy shoes at that!

Your son is smart, and now he has smart feet. :lmao:

Your son can wear Crocs because he's a cutie pie. Not all men could pull off that look.

I saw a family when I was at Universal a couple of weeks ago - the father and the son were wearing crocs, and the mother was wearing high heeled sandals. They all looked like dorks. :rotfl2:

Phew, I saw the "family at Universal" and began to sweat - thinking maybe it was us. But I don't wear high heels there. :scared: Last time we were there - 7 people, 7 sets of different color Crocs, including DH, DS10 and DS17.

You guys really need to come to Boulder (CO), home of the Crocs. Ok, the owners really live in Nederland, but it is next to Boulder in Boulder County. And they went to Fairview High in Boulder.

Guys wearing Crocs here is nothing unusual. Just go to the mall, the grocery store, anywhere and you will find many, many men wearing either birkenstocs or Crocs.

But then again, as we lovingly refer to Boulder - It is 40 sq. miles surrounded by reality. So maybe in our dimension, Real Guys Do Wear Crocs.

So we agree that the same could be said for the "47 sq. miles surrounded by reality", that we call Walt Disney World.
