Guests on reservation, arriving before us

They can go ahead and check in and use the amenities (pool, etc.) without us, right? I'm fairly certain I knew this already, tried to do a search on these boards (search doesn't work as well as it used to, IMO), couldn't find an answer, so here I am confirming. Thanks!

If the room isn't ready, and the pool is gated they might need to get a card from the front desk that allows them to get into the pool and the MB will only open the pool gate after you used it open your room.

It has a gate, but I think we just pushed a button to get in last year. Did you know you can access the pool via at the Rafiki elevator to parking garage on the north wing?

We are going to be in the same situation this fall. We are flying and will arrive later than the rest of our party who is driving.

Yes, as long as all their names are on the reservation and at least one is 18 or over.

I really doubt if that's true. It might have been true in a glitch situation but it makes no sense for it to be policy.

MB's need to open your room door first to prove that you have your band. If someone should find your band, they wouldn't know which room door to use it on for validation.
