Guesses on cash cost for BLT?

Hello all,

I'm still trying to decide if DVC is right for our family. We plan to buy into BLT. Part of what I need to estimate is how much the OPP cost would be to stay at a 1 bdrm at BLT.

I looked into what it costs to stay at the Contemporary, but I don't know if that is a good estimate or not. We have never been to WDW before.

Hi,
I checked what it would cost for a 1 bedroom villa at Beach Club and Boardwalk for a one week trip, starting Sat. Feb 14, checking out Friday Feb 20 (6 nights)- the cost was $4,016 total, or $595 per night. Disney has different pricing for different seasons, I'm not sure what season this week in Feb falls into (that week is school vacation for many schools). Also, the cost for a studio was $455 per night (includes tax).

Definitely, you must stay there before thinking on buy, and as you are interested in DVC is a good idea to stay in a villa to "feel" how DVC is...

fall is definitely cheaper than summer or spring break

for off seaon
WL - $315 room,
VWL - $325 studio, $440 VWL

BCV and BWV charge the same for a studio as a room at BC and BWI
$335 - $450 1-bedroom

so a studio will probably be $390 and a 1-bedroom will be between $524 to $545 - this will be only MK view - the other views will be cheaper

this is all a big guess!

We looked at the models at DL a few weeks ago, and the spaciousness of the 1 bedrooms really sold us. I do some business traveling, so a hotel room would only remind me of work.

I needed to get a feel for how much rooms at BLT would cost on a cash basis. We would be able to travel in January because DD goes to year-round school, but BLT is so expensive, we would only be able to stay a few days in a 1 bdrm....we would likely bank/borrow to stay longer, but since we're on the west coast, we would probably do that anyway.
