Guess where the cat has been...

EVERYWHERE!!!! I have been enlightened! Ugh, apparently some water got in the basement and my kitty (or perhaps both kitties) got wet feet, then got into the litter (scoopable) and now there are little cement cat prints ALL OVER THE HOUSE. I will never look at my house the same now that I know where they go with their dirty little litter feet. This litter is literally turned to cement.


The prints go up the stairs through the kitchen, across the stove, through the living room, make circles on the couch, across the bed to the sleeping cat..... they are lighter on the bed spread. Ewwwwwwww


BTW I have two of these little critters running around making cement litter cat prints. I will be disinfecting for the near future......

They came right off! Luckily they were very easy to clean!

You do know the kitties only did this because they had wet feet. They usually don't walk around and explore so much when they can't leave tracks.

I know how you feel, my cats did something similar, only they had obviously jumped on a garden fence that had just been painted. I had brown paint paw prints all over my house! Luckily I have washable seat covers and paint comes quite well off wooden floors.

Something like that happened to us with our dog once. I cut her nails, then went upstairs thinking nothing of it. We came back down about 20 minutes later, and found little bloody paw prints everywhere! I was never good at cutting her nails, and cut a few of them to short, and they bled - everywhere she went. DH put a sock on her foot with duct tape untill it healed - she actually didn't mind it at all. We took her to the vet to get her nails clipped there after.

We have carpet in our house so at worst we get a few muddy paw prints by the back of the door. Our cat is a bit stupid though - we got him a kennel for wet weather but he sits with his head out in the rain? Then he comes in and rubs himself up against your legs so you end up with wet hairy jeans

I still adore him though
