Guess what's stuck in my cat????

A fish hook!!! Right above his tail on his back. How in the world did that happen? And where did she find it? We do live on the lake so maybe one washed ashore. My poor Sadie. She is going to the vet to have it removed.

I could see it stuck in her paw, or maybe her mouth but on her back like it is??

The unexpected expense of owning pets, gotta love it!

The poor little fur baby. I will admit that the tail is an odd place to have a fish hook but it's better than the foot or mouth I think.

I know, it's not funny! I'm sorry for you kitty, but they survive some pretty weird things; don't they? Mine got her <i>own</i> claw stuck in her <i>own</i> mouth! I sooo wish she could have told me how she managed that one!!!

years ago my uncle when alive you to take us fishing. When we came home one day he stood the fishing poles up my cat started swating at the line and got the hook stuck inhis mouth. i feelbad for your poor Kitty.

I feel sorry for your kitty! My cats have been to the vets a few times with cuts. Cheeky has been bitten 3 times by the wild rabbits on the field next to my house (quite why I'm not sure when the cat is bigger than the rabbit!) and Figaro once stood on some glass (I think) as he came home and his front paw was cut really badly. He had to have 5 stitches in the pad on his paw!! Talk about howling noises when he was having it done!
I hope your kitty gets better soon.

I worked at a vet when I was in college. A cat came in once with a hook in its' mouth, the vet cut the end off of the hook, took it out, gave the cat an antibiotic shot & sent it home. The cat didn't really seem to mind all that much either. Good luck to your kitty!
