Today we bought 200 points at Bay Lake Towers! We went to the presentation at the Contemporary today with NO intention of buying, just to get a sneek peak at BLT really...and we ended up leaving as members!

I can't believe we did it! I am beyond excited! DH and I are only 24 and 25, and this is only our second big purchase together so we can't stop smiling! We've spent hours going through the points charts and looking at the hotels we could stay at!

I am SO HAPPY we did this!

CONGRATS! DH and I bought when we were fairly young, too. I was 25 and he was 29 and don't regret it at all and have added on since our initial purchase in 2002. Enjoy!

We also bought at BLT. We have 4 kids so being that close to MK is going to be great - also great is the monorail. We have our first stay on property and as DVC members on 9/26 can't wait .

We're actually staying at Bay Lake Towers on August 4th and 5th in a one bedroom with a Magic Kingdom view. We had booked it a while back and paid cash, but our guide told us she could convert it to points and we could get the cash back! We're waiting to hear from her today to see if she managed it.

Something that bothered me a little...we filled out the paperwork with our guide (Linda...anyone know her?) and were told we were approved for financing and everything, but when we left yesterday we didn't actually have any paperwork to take with us. Does that stuff come in the mail? I kind of feel like it was all a dream or something!

All of ours was done by mail but then we also did not make the decision on property. We debated it for a couple of months as we do with all large financial decisions and then pulled the trigger.

I am thinking our guide was named Chris something?
