ziploc pennies only - about 24 lbs. and grey can, no pennies - 29 lbs.

THe real cooper pennies are worth more then the .1cent. Also, look for wheat pennies. It may be in what you have then the count. I had a several prior to 1960ish pennies that were worth big buck.

It cost over .2 cents to even make a penny, one that is filled with junk anymore.
Take the time and look through them very well. Maybe traveling that Dream..

The next batch - those are gone now. Who would one sell them to? Do places that sell gold buy coins too? I would think not. I do have some silver coins and a 2 cent somewhere. Gotta go and dig it out. My dad found it many years ago while working on the train tracks(subway). No clue right now where it is :confused3

There are shops that deal with coins and precious metals. Go through old coins for silver too. Look in you local newspaper for a shop, and read if it was there before the metals went sky high. The long term shops and locals are great to deal with.

I buy and sell to them, but recently I have been buying silver 1 oz bars from Apmex.com
Our local shop had some nice sets of silver dollars for Disney that I loved...
But, I am about making some $$$ not buying the sets anymore.
