Guarantee Castle View at GF?

This is my first stay at GF and it's going to be our honeymoon!

Is there way to guarentee a castle view at any room at the Grand Floridian? I'm considering Concierge and Honeymoon rooms right now but I can't tell if anyone can guarentee the view.

Am I more likely to get a castle view with a room that has a view of the marina or Seven Seas Lagoon?

I read the GF FAQ and it talks about the different floors and what they have but I'm not guarenteed a specific floor, right?

I don't think there's any way to absolutely guarantee it. I'm not a GF expert, but I think you can request certain buildings that have the MK lagoon view rooms, or some of the main building rooms have it, but it's not guaranteed that I know of.

If you are interested in guaranteeing a castle view, as of January 2006 that can be done at the Contemporary.

We did concierge at GF, main building. The castle view rooms are marina view.

We stayed at the GF and were disappointed with our HM, but the weather played a major factor in that. When we were planning, I remember that they said some of the Turret (I think) style HM rooms had castle views, but I can't quite remember. You might want to ask this on the wedding and Hm boards too as they might know more there. Good luck and have a woderful HM!!
