Grumpy, his wife and their son Goofy dine at the World -- Updated 220 & 232(Pg 15&16)

You had much better luck at RR and EoS than we did...although Todd loves EoS. I wouldnt mind going back there to try the holiday sandwich though, sounds very interesting! I probably would like the sandwich you had since I love grilled cheese but...the cheese might kill me :lmao:

We do not have any DTD plans as of now...but I hope to get there at least one day for shopping and snacking

I haven't been on the dining boards for awhile and I completely forgot that you were doing a dining review.

All caught up now. Raglan Road always looks good and so does Earl of Sandwich. DTD has so many choices it is hard to pick.

Glad you enjoyed Boma. We didn't have a great time last trip but our waitress was never around and the food wasn't warm enough. We'll have to give it another shot b/c I loved it the previous year.

I have read so many good review of EoS. I've been wanting to try that place for awhile but haven't got a chance yet. Your ham and swiss cheese looks so delicious~ Perhaps, next trip, we could try....(as long as I don't get disctracted by others). :rolleyes1

You really should give it a try.

I wonder if you'll end up at Fulton's for lunch? We agree with Todd...really LOVE EOS.

It just goes to show how on any day you can have a different experience than someone else. I hope you'll go back to Boma...we've been three tiems now and never had a bad meal.

This is one of those meals that we look forward to every trip. First off, I LOVE Pooh and friends, and I love the puffed french toast.

We had an 9:05 a.m. ADR with our good friend, MaryAZ, her husband, Jeff, their adorable kids -- Cayley and Avery, and Jeff's parents.

Being that the monorail was NOT running (issues again), we had to take the ferry and I was afraid we were going to be late. We arrived at the MK at 8:55 and I had Mark go ahead of me while I went through bag check so he'd be there to check in while I watched for Mary and the rest of the family.

We were seated about 9:15 a.m. -- not too bad.

They had decorated the table for our anniversary, Cayley and Jeff's birthday:

Mark's first plate -- pancakes, coffee cake, Mickey waffle, Mickey Chocolate Waffle, grits, hash and bacon:

My plate -- Puffed French Toast (there was a second one hidden under the first one ;)), Mickey Waffle, potato casserole and bacon

I don't have any picatures of Mark'x next plate, but he did go back and get me more puffed french toast; I think he had some fruit and more waffles; and I know he had a banana because Cayley decided she would share with him and took a big chomp off of it. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

We all know that buffet food is NOT always the best, but we have never had a bad meal here. And, in our opinion, the bacon is usually pretty good here.

On a scale of 1 to 10, we give our breakfast at Crystal Palace an 8 for good food and terrific character interaction.

Here are a few pictures of the kids, us and characters to add some "sparkle" to this review:

Up next, Cosmic Rays.

I am growing to like CP more and more! that "french toast" aka we all know it is a dang donut is amazing and I always look forward to it!

What cuties those 2 are!! and Mark, love his ears!

Yay, a review of someplace that I have yet to try (well, I have had CP...just not for breakfast) and in December I have an ADR. I will have to try that toast!!!

BTW, I love the picture of you with Cayley. You both look like you are having a wonderful time. :goodvibes

Great food, fun characters and two of the cutest little girls ever...sounds like the perfect start to a day at MK!

We have not been to CP since we took the girls almost 3 years ago and we miss it...might have to chance a walk up next week :lmao:

CP breakfast is one of our favorites! We've done it every trip. I love the restaurant's decor, characters, food and early ADR so you could walk up virtually empty Main Street!

Love Mark's shirt! You got Mickey sparkles on your table! Looks like a fun time and great food!

CP looks so adorable and the food looks quite good for breakfast. One of these trips we are going to have to try it! Or I will just wait until we have a little one and take them as the characters are too cute there!

i loved the hash at CP, i thought it was right up there with my homemade stuff, i think i had 3 plates of it.
:thumbsup2

glad to see he got it with his meal.

CP is a must for us now, at least as long as Pooh and Tigger are DD's favorite characters. :) We like the food as well.

Great CP review and I'm glad you included the characters as they make the meal. We loved our meal here as well and those puffed french toast sure are yummy!

Ok, I have gone back and forth on this adr - cancel or not cancel

you are not making it easy! :rotfl2: Puffed French toast looks delicious! Not being on the Dining Plan this time has made me really reconsider every decision I've made, or will make!! It sure looks like a great time was had by all! :thumbsup2

Love CP! We've not had breakfast so this will be our first experience this next trip! So excited!!! Those little girls are so darn cute!!!:goodvibes

I love CP breakfast and I've never had a less than stellar meal there either. It's my favorite breakfast at Disney!

Here I sit starving and drooling over thoughts of puffed french toast! We love CP too, although we always do lunch or dinner. Even my son who is almost 17 loves the food there enough to put up with his mom making him pose with Pooh and Tigger!

I think we need to try breakfast one of these days but not next trip, that breakfast spot is for Boma!

Mary's girls are so adorable.

Hey Kathy! Catching up here too! I was holding my breath through the Raglan Road review. I'm SO glad you guys liked it!

That toast is the favorite part of my meal. Mark has had those ears for years...people have offered him money for them. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm so glad you are going to CP for breakfast...you will love it. Remember...the puffed french toast is in the "kiddie station" but everyone can have it...trust me, they would have to fight me for it.

Cayley is a sweetheart.

Aren't those girls just adorable? I love them and could just squeeze them all day.

If you get a walk in, I will forever give up making ADR's.

I think it is a beautiful restaurant -- I've always loved the decor.

Yes, we had "pixie dust" as I call it on the table (I gather it up and share it with kids while we wait in line).

CP looks so adorable and the food looks quite good for breakfast. One of these trips we are going to have to try it! Or I will just wait until we have a little one and take them as the characters are too cute there!

You must try CP...I can't believe you haven't already. Hey, Mark and I don't have little ones and we go every trip.

Mark really liked that hash too!

I couldn't agree more. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed your meal at CP too. The characters do make the meal.

Do NOT cancel. We weren't on the dining plan either, and this is just one we cannot miss.

Love CP! We've not had breakfast so this will be our first experience this next trip! So excited!!! Those little girls are so darn cute!!!:goodvibes

I am so glad you and the family are going to CP for breakfast. Did you get one for first thing in the a.m.?

Those girls are adorable....turst me.

I love CP breakfast and I've never had a less than stellar meal there either. It's my favorite breakfast at Disney!

It's our favorite character breakfast and, although we love Boma, it probably still tops that by a notch.

Mary's girls are so adorable.

We've never done lunch or dinner...I tend to stay away from any buffets at Disney except breakfast.

Mary's girls are sweeties.

Hey Kathy! Catching up here too! I was holding my breath through the Raglan Road review. I'm SO glad you guys liked it!

Kelly, we were very happy with Raglan and it will stay on the list for a future visit.

Work has been kicking my butt, but I will try to get an update done tonight (perhaps two).
