group gatherings

Brother has a family of 7 and just added my Mom to thier group. The CM told him that they are now considered a group gathering what dose this meen and what extras are they entitled too?

With eight people your group is considered a "Grand Gathering". You have special fireworks cruises and tours available to you as a result that aren't offered to the general public. They aren't free, mind you. I had a group of nine with me when we went in September and I saw no real benefit to being officially termed a "Grand Gathering". It's all up to you once you and and your party know what you're up for.

they link your reservations so you can make changes for eachother & have rooms close by if at the same resort. there are also special events available like an illuminations dinner at a cost. you can also set up polls & vacation planning stuff at disneyworld.go.com for you all to access.
