We're going to WDW during Thanksgiving to celebrate my 50th birthday :cake: and we just made ressies at FW and we're staying in a cabin. We thought it would be cozy and relaxing for the week of Thanksgiving.

Here is my question ~ I thought I read :surfweb: somewhere on these threads about a local grocery store that accepts orders and delivers to FW. We're flying into MCO and using Magical Express and therefore are not renting a car. Can any of the FW veterans offer their expertise?

Many thanks :flower3:

I answered this 5 minutes ago, but the post never showed up...thats weird. Anyway...Garden Grocer delivers.

homebrew that's so sweet of you.

I know whenever we were there in April our neighbors in a MH came and knocked on our humble door and asked for a ride to the grocery store whenever we were going, and of course we look for any excuse to go so we went and it made us feel really good that we could do something for someone and we were repayed with a cake and for us that was good eatin ! :rotfl2: We wouldn't take the money but would the cake...lol

Yes indeed...Id never turn down an opportunity to give someone a ride to a grocery store...OR liquor store....ya know they'll be all to happy to thank you with baked goods, or goods that'll get you baked!!!

Well with me, every trip out of the Fort entails a stop to replenish my
Drinkin Whiskey supply.....which always seems to be DANGEROUSLY LOW!!!:drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 for some unknown reason:rolleyes1

My recipe for the perfect Vodka Martini: Glass+Vodka+Queen Olive+Ice Cube+ Vermouth+Toothpick.

Place Ice Cube In Glass.

Pour in 4 or 5 shots Vodka

Spear Olive With Toothpick.

Remove top from Vermouth.

Gently wave Olive over top of open Vermouth(Twice for regular, once for Dry)

Use olive to stir Vodka.....and enjoy.

Now be careful 'cause I've noticed the more olives you use the more toasted
you become. Might have to start leaving them out.

For a case of beer I'll take your order, shop for it and deliver it to your cabin.

Make those blue cheesed stuffed olives! Now, you've got a Martini!

Thanks for the tip about waving the olives over the vermouth~ I never knew that! I always just spritzed some in.

Like Homebrew if you find it's fairly expensive to get delivery ... We will be there also from 20 Oct to 1 Dec this year and would be happy to take you if we're going which is usually every week. This last time we mainly shopped at the WM SuperCenter on 535. If what you need is not perishable I could even pick it up ahead of time and have it waiting for you. What dates specifically will you be there.

WOW ~ Take me to the store? Pick up groceries for me? This kind of generousity is overwhelming and I would never expect anyone to cater to my needs so willingly. However, I'd be happy to share a cocktail or 3 with any of you at our cabin. We'll be there Nov. 22 - 30.

We used to do trashcan parties back in school. There aint nothing like 33gallons of jungle juice(ingredients:any and everything you and your friends can find thats liquid or similar to koolaid and all the liquor you could steal from your parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc) and a bunch of teenagers....unless you're a parent of one of those teenagers!!!!
