I've just been super busy with family in town for Thanksgiving! I hope everyone on the train had a terrific day!!

Anyone attempt Black Friday shopping? I went, but not until 1PM. It was a great time to go, the deals were still on, the crowds had already died down, parking was good, walked right up to registers. I got everything on my list except for 1 thing, and so I will order that online. I even got the candy for my boys stockings. I'm very pleased with my accomplishments of Black Friday!

I did not go till 11am ,but Judy was at Walmart the night before and in the midst of the mayhem , but she got almost everything on the list and a lot were the Doorbusters !!!! I did well at Target with clothes for Kyle !! Actually I hit KMart and Rite Aid on Thanksgiving Day !!! The crowds are much smaller and there were some good buys !!

Oh Black Friday, how I hate thee! LOL! I don't know what I was thinking...I have never been out early on Black Friday and I probably never will again. I drove a 1/2 hr into Toys R Us around 11pm Thursday night after having seen that stores were opening at 10pm, forgetting that our state has a law that stores can't be open on Thanksgiving/Xmas. So the store wasn't opening until 12am. The parking lot was jammed packed, the line was soooooo long. I stood in line for 2 hours (from 1145-145) in the freezing cold just to get into the store. Was not able to get exactly what I wanted. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING!!!! I think I had gone temporarily insane!!!

After a day of shopping for everyone else yesterday, today Santa delivered a package for me !! It was from the Snowman Exchange!! I got the cutest light up Mickey Snowman and Mickey Snowman cookie cutter

I did not go out on Black Friday. I do not have little ones anymore & there was nothing I needed THAT bad. I put up my Christmas tree & made turkey soup. I did go to Kohl's on Sat. though & picked up some things.
