I already know that we are going to use some sort of online grocer to deliver us some breakfast items, and snacks. Just wondering if there is one that delivers beer.

We just put in an order with wegoshop and ordered some beer. Marge e-mailed that we must be present during the delivery so that they can see our id and confirm we're old enough.

This was our first time ordering groceries and it was very easy.

I just started to make my grocery list for gardengrocer and noticed that there was no beer/wine or acholol on thier site. I know you can get it from the other deliver - wegoshop - but, that site you have to specify specifically the groceries you want and the store, etc.... seemed like a lot more work to me... from what I have read - some of the resorts (AKL) have wine for sale...

What we did for our wegoshop order was look at gardengrocer's site. This gave us an idea of what the price would be, brands that are available, and made it easier for us to figure out what we wanted.

Yes, AKL does have some nice African wines. In May, DW bought a bottle there and they even asked if she would like it uncorked. Note: if you're looking for beer, unless they changed since May, Disney no longer offers a discount for six packs. If one beer is $5, six beers will cost $30.

I have used both companies and both are great, just depends if you want to list your items or not.

With GardenGrocer, you put what alcohol or beer/wine you want in the comment section and they will gladly buy it for you. Have fun!

We used Wegoshop and they did deliver beer to us. We felt they were a better service and better value than Gardengrocer. I liked that I could specify exactly what brand/size I wanted of each item on my list.

Same here, worked great.

I wish I'd known that back in September! I packed two "boxes" of wine in my suitcase, but at least I didn't have to take them back home to California! ;-)

Call the garden grocer. I was told beer could be added by a follow-up e-mail.

We ordered a case of Miller Lite (in cans) on our last Garden Grocer order in August. I noted it in the comments section and once I got my confirmation number on the rest of the order I had to fax a copy of my drivers license so they could verify my age. I simply referenced my order number on the fax. (I think I also could've scanned it & sent by email maybe but fax was easiest for me.) Anyway, they called me back with the price. It was high ($23 something) compared to what we pay at home but certainly a LOT cheaper than paying Disney $5.25 EACH at the store on site!!! Our entire order was left with bell services while we were out at the parks (waiting on our villa to be ready).:thumbsup2

(BTW I chose to go with Garden Grocer because WeGoShop told me they add a $5 surcharge / fee for each additional stop they make & they also prefer cash on delivery & I knew we wouldn't be around to receive it. They will take credit cards but they add another fee (like about 13%) for using a credit card. That sort of turned me off & I decided to just use GG 'cuz I'd know what the bottom line would be.)

Yup. We've done that too. Works very well. :thumbsup2

We have used wegoshop.com 6 times and have been very happy with their service. I would recommend them.
I prefer to compile my own list with Brand names and package sizes, rather than shop an electronic aisle. I also think wegoshop is a bit more economical than Garden Grocer. I have always scheduled a late afternoon/early evening delivery the day we arrive and they guarantee a 30 minute - not 2 hour - delivery window. They have always been right on time.
I have never paid a multi site fee - even when ordering beer and wine.
I have paid by check each time and again there is no extra fee. The cost of their service is the exact cost of the groceries (they give you the original register receipt) plus their delivery fee. I also tip the delivery person.
Have a great trip.
