I was lucky enough to experience the amazing Gringotts queue twice at the end of August and took a lot of pics that I thought I would share.

Enjoy!

That's all for now. I have a lot of Diagon Alley but it will take me quite some time to go through all my pics.

Thank you all for your comments. :goodvibes

Sharon, I used a canon DSLR - 5DMkIII model and a variety of lenses. Your next question may be how I was able to get though the line with all that and the answer lies in utilizing the child swap option.

Wow, thank you for posting such beautiful photos

I cant wait to go and see it for myself but your photos get me even more excited :)

You're welcome Mikkimus :-) The entire Diagon Alley section of the park will blow you away. I hope you have a great trip!

Every time I start to think that maybe we won't go to Universal during our trip to WDW, I see things like this that make me think we have to.

Thanks, great pics.

Nice photos. Did you use a tripod at all?

If I get anything close to those pics in November I'll be delighted. I have access to a number of lenses (and I have a Canon ID3) but I was thinking of bringing a 70-200 Mark 2 and a 16-35. Can I ask which ones you brought?

I have access to 50 1.4 and 24-70 but I don't want to bring a huge, huge camera bag around on my vacation to carry four or more lenses.

these are bloody awesome !!!!! :yay::yay::yay: thank you for sharing these.... these pictures are getting me SOOO excited to see it in person!

Nice pics!! I am so happy i can open these threads now. I was super careful about not seeing ANY spoilers in before we rode it.

Thank you. We love both WDW and Universal. They both have a lot to offer for our family. We stayed at Disney this trip and broke away multiple days to visit Universal and it was well worth it!

Amazing pictures! Thank you for posting them!
Thank you :)

Thank you. I did not use a tripod at Universal. It would be difficult for me to break out a tripod while on a line which is constantly moving (albeit fairly slowly).

I carry around more equipment than most people of sound mind will do in the sweltering August heat and humidity. Here is the assortment of lenses I carried this trip

Zoom lenses
Canon 16-35 f/2.8
Canon 24-70 f/2.8
Canon 70-200 f/4

Prime lenses
Canon 35mm f/1.4
Canon 85mm f/1.2
Canon 300mm f/4
Sigma 15mm f/2.8 fisheye

Please be forewarned that you won't be able to get through the line with a large camera and/or camera bag unless you are not going on the ride or you are utilizing the child swap area like I did.

Thank you. Pictures won't even do the all encompassing immersion you will experience when you step into Diagon Alley. It is without a doubt the best themed area I have seen in a park.

I tried not to look too much in advance as well but it was not easy. Hope you enjoyed it as well!

WOW!! Thank you for taking the time to post all of those.

We leave exactly one week from today. Your pics made me even more excited to go. I didn't think that was possible :)
