Has anyone ever taken Greyhound to WDW??? They have an Express that takes about the same time we do when we drive down. Round trip for $78.00 for 1 person, $156 for 2. That's as cheap or cheaper than to drive and saves wear & tear on my car and my body, lol. The arrival station in Orlando is 19 miles from WDW & would have to have a cab for transportation to resort.
We go to WDW at least 3 times a year & always drive. Usually takes 6 to 7 hours depending on how often we stop. Sometimes we rent a car/van or just drive my car if less than 4 people are going. I'm just getting tired of driving. Rentals are too expensive and so is airfare.
Any thoughts??

I haven't tried it but I've seen lots of tips on using greyhound on a lot of the wdw sites. I think "the mouse for less" suggests the Kissimmee station instead of the Orlando one (only 13 miles away and nicer neighborhood).
There might be some discounts available too.

It would be a good idea to travel light if going by bus.

Thanks, I'll have to check 'the mouse for less'. The major reason I would choose the Orlando station is because that is the station for the express route. Buses going into Kissimmee from Atl showed travel time about 13 hours:eek: where as express was 7 to 8 hours.

Not sure why you said this? My DD takes greyhound to school and they are very friendly with luggage. She can take a very big suitcase for free under the bus and a carryon. She always has her big backpack and has had a bag and pillow also and has never had a problem. If you need to check a second bag it is only $10

If you said this for getting from the bus to Disney I can understand that but as far as getting there it is much more baggage friendly than the airlines.

Yes, I was thinking of from the bus to Disney. :)
