Green poison apple stein ANIMAL KINGDOM

I am going to two MK for two days to attend two Halloween parties October 11 and 12th.

We are only going to MK just to enjoy the parties this year and I’m super bummed I can’t get the green poison apple steins to add to my red apples since they are only going to be sold at Animal Kingdom! I’m so confused why they’d sell a Snow White item at AK only - perhaps to lure people there?

Besides getting a park ticket for AK, is there some other way to achieve getting a few? I do not want to buy from those who are merely just reselling them for triple the price online.

What am I not thinking of?

Go to Guest Relations outside of AK. Tell them you need to enter to shop and you’ll have a designated time allotment in which to enter, shop, and return to GR so that a ticket entitlement is not deducted.

What if OP has no ticket? It sounds like they have two party tickets, not any regular tickets. Can you still shop?

Yes. But I don’t remember the specifics of the shopping pass...there is a return time but I’m unsure of how it’s enforced.

Oooo, if that’s an option I’m so excited. Worth a try at least! I only have party tickets this trip but I just really want the green apple stein without getting a ticket to AK.

I don't know the specifics, but I think they swipe a credit card and give you an allotted time (an hour I think?) as long as you check back with Guest Relations by the deadline your card doesn't get charged. That's how it was long ago, maybe with the tech of the MagicBand the process of confirming you've exited in time is automated?

How does the Disney shopping app work in the parks? I have never used it before, but are you able to purchase stuff in the various parks and have it delivered to your rooms? I used it once about 3 years ago to find a Buzz Lightyear Antenna guy for our teenager and it told me which stores sold it in HS so that I could get one. It seems like I remember your being able to buy stuff, pay for it and pick it up at the gate with that app? I may be wrong on that. I am referring to the ShopDisneyParks App. I don't have it on my phone anymore or else I would check it and let you know. Maybe someone else who has it can check for you?

Please report back and let us know if this still works!! I did it many years ago to buy something (I swear I think it was Crocs...??) from the Pirates store at MK, but someone reported here sometime back that it was no longer done. Would love to know, as for some stupid reason I didn’t buy a Pandora pin when we were there, and would love to have a friend who’s going soon pop in for one for me.

And BTW, don’t you hate when they put the merch in a different park than where it “fits??” Ugh!

I don't think you can get it delivered to your room from the app...but how awesome would that be? Of course anything you purchase in the shops (except food) can be sent to your resort. BTW, the ShopDisneyParks functions are now available on MDE--no need for both apps on your phone if you don't want to.
