Just a quick report.
I had a great week from August 1, 2004 to August 8, 2004. Fortunately, I escaped before Hurricane Chuckie came blowing through. Although my mother decided to stay an extra week with her sister in Orlando. Let's just say that was a bad idea.
Stayed the first few days at Saratoga Springs in a 2-bedroom, room #1611 in Congress Park. Requested a water view of Downtown Disney. Got a courtyard/garden view with no water. But heck, it was a great room. SSR, when it is complete is really going to be a fantastic resort. For those of you who made SSR your home resort, it was a really good investment of your money.
CM gave me the rumor de jour....that SSR will eventually have a 1,200 room lodge built on the property. Always love the rumor mill.
Stayed at my home resort, BCV, in a 2-bedroom. Room #250. Huge balcony, and a partial few of the Epcot fireworks at night. Storm-A-Long Bay was wonderful as always.
Parks were packed and lines were long. There's no place like home!
