Returned on 7/25 from trip to Disney and Universal. This trip was myself, my husband, daughter (10), son (14) and nephew (15). Let the two boys go off on their own, as long as they stayed together. They would meet us for meals.
Stayed at Poly Concierge for the first week. Loved it here. Watching the Wishes fireworks every night from the beach was wonderful. Food in the concierge lounge was great. Being able to take the Monorail to Magic Kingdom was very convenient. Stayed at AKL for 3 nights, just to relax before heading over to the Royal Pacific at Universal.
We visited all 4 parks and spent 1/2 day each at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. In the summer, be sure to get to Blizzard Beach early, they filled up by 11:00 am most days and would not allow anyone else in. The kids preferred Blizzard Beach over Typhoon Lagoon. Also spent a few hours at Disney Quest and 1/2 day at Downtown Disney shopping.

We did not rent a car. Used Tiffany Towncar from airport to Disney, then to Universal and back to the airport. They were great, very prompt. Did not wait any more than 10 to 15 minutes for Disney busses.
Had luggage transferred from Poly to AKL with no problems. Just called Bell Services 15 minutes before we were ready to leave, they picked up luggage and issued us a receipt. Told us luggage would be delivered to new Resort between 1 and 3 pm.
Parks were fairly crowded, but took advantage of FastPass. Did early morning entry at Magic Kingdom, MGM and Animal Kingdom. Was able to do major attractions before big crowds. Also did E-Night on a Wednesday at Magic Kingdom. Did not wait more than 5 minutes for any of the rides open.
Great trip!! Miss Disney but glad to be back home after 2 weeks!!!
