Great price on Ipod dock and speakers from Amazon.com

Just to let everyone know, I went to order one today and the price went up to $56.92!! I knew I should have ordered it the day I read the first post! Oh well! I ordered it anyway. I used the free shipping and it said it will be delivered 12/22. UGH!

As far as shipping delivery by 12/22, just check it. I ordered 2 on Wed 12/6 at noon with free super saver shipping. Got the normal "this will take 3-5 days extra for the free super saver shipping" & that they will deliver by 12/23. By midnight on 12/6 the order was processed & they were delivered to me the very next day Thurs 12/7. Super! They originated at a warehouse about 2-3 hours away, so that played into it I'm sure. But regardless, they were on the ball.

I ordered this and received it really quickly, but I am sending it back.

Did anybody but me try theirs??? DH tried ours and the volume setting sucks - it goes from soft to med to loud that's it. No variation and not really loud enough at top volume - top volume is basically medium loud. I don't think the sound quality is good at all, either. I hate sending things back to Amazon, but it's going back asap. I bought it for my DS16 and asked DH if he thought it was even worth $25 and he didn't.

I think you can. I think they extend their return policy over the holidays. Save your packing slip and box if possible. That makes it all easier. It has been a while since I returned an Amazon item, but I believe you will have to go online and fill something out and print something to send back with the item.

I was just curious if it was just my item with issues or if DH (who doesn't read directions, lol) missed something. I really don't think so, though.

We received ours on Friday and opened it when DH got home from work. We thought it sounded fine. My DH plugged in his IPod turned it on (Playing Santa Dogs) and our dog actually started howling and barking because she thought there were dogs in the room (I guess). Anyway, it was pretty funny. We thought the sound was fine. I would sugggest everyone just try theirs out before you start to give up on it.

It may have just been our item, but to us it's not worth keeping. I wondered if anybody else had tried theirs and had problems with the volume adjustment (basically none) and the bass adjustment. I would rather pay more for a better sound quality than we are getting out of ours.

The price is now back down to $49.99, but now it's no longer eligible for free shipping! I'm really on the fence with this item -- just can't decide. I had decided to do it, then I saw the shipping . . .

I also still had some of the skillets so many of us ordered for $7.99 with a $5 rebate a couple weeks ago in my cart, and they're now $29.99!

If I ask to see the others available new and used, I get back to the amazon one, which has free shipping AND the rebate. I ordered mine last week and it arrived in 6 days. I bought it for the $49/free shipping/$25 rebate. Rebate is going out today. After the earlier post I was concerned and opened the box and checked it last night. Sound was great. It seemed to me that we could adjust the volume quite a bit, maybe a total of 10 "notches" from highest to lowest. The bass sounded okay too. I didn't see anywhere to adjust that (Had to do it quickly while the kids were downstairs...I'm saving mine for DD b-day). Anyway, I think ours is a keeper. Maybe you couldn't adjust yours because your ipod was all the way up (volume) or something like that? My ipod volume was set really low.

Sorry I missed the $13 special from other website-but I'm not familiar with that site. I still think the $25 was a deal from what I've seen/hear so far though. For future reference, can someone tell me what the Google check out is? Thanks!
