Has anyone noticed that the item is on the rebate list but not in the bold blue print near the bottom of the rebate page?

I didn't notice it until you pointed it out, but it is still on the top part. I am hoping it was just a mistake and they accidentally left it off the bottom.

I just ordered it and I hope it works with the refurbished suffle I got DD8 for her birthday (for $29.99 ). I also hope it comes in time for Channukah (obviously it wont make it by the first day, but hopefully the 8th).

UPS just rang the doorbell.....there they were Also, the $89 Nanos were back on the refurbished list at Apple. I ordered 2. I have 6 kids. They use their IPods daily. One of the best investments made. The trouble is DD(senior) has had hers stolen once,and now she just lost her 2nd one.
She pays for them, not me, by the way. All that money she makes selling popcorn at the movies is going fast !!!

They dont tell you on the website or any of the technical information but it says on the box when you get it that you need an accessory adapter in order to use the shuffle which costs $20+! I am very upset that something like this wasnt mentioned on Amazon.com and have emailed them about it.

I did a search online for the adapters and they are definitely $20+ plus some places charge for shipping. I'm sure I can run out and find it somewhere but it irks me that I have to pay this addl. amount in order for my daughter to be able to use it..makes the good deal not so good in my opinion

I am curious as to how Amazon will handle it..they will probably blow me off

Since you ordered 2, are you trying for 2 rebates? I called the number on the rebate and the recording said only 1 per household (even tho the form says 1 per SKU)??

I ordered 2 and am going to send for 2 rebates. Ths order came in 2 separate boxes so I have 2 different receipts.It does say 1 per SKU, so that's what I'm going by

The accessory adapter evidently helps plug the shuffle into the dock (it must not have the right connections) If you do a search for ipod shuffle adapter it brings it up most places that sell that kind of stuff..there is one by Belkin I saw and the one made by Kensington. It ranges from $19.95 and up and it does stink because they should have that kind of info on the site. I am waiting to hear back from them on what they will or wont do. I dont expect much except an offer to return it

I am going to see if that cheap accessory kit from Radio Shack has something like that inside it..one of the RS near me actually has one left and I am going to go get one and hope for the best

If worse comes to worst I will buy the adapter because it doesnt seem that there is much choice with anything you want to attach the shuffle to. And at least she can use the speakers if she upgrades to a Nano in the future

Is this the adaptor you are talking about that needs to be purchased?

If so, that did not come in my accessory kit at radio shack.
