We always have Miracle Whip (sorry, no Mayo in our deviled eggs) and yellow mustard...the most basic of recipes is the one liked best in our house.
Now if you add sweet relish, thats sounds like my mom's recipe!

I do the sausage and cream cheese and then fill mushroom caps with the mixture. Bake it for 15 min at 350. Yummy stuffed mushrooms
The only downside of them is that each will hold 20 eggs - weird that they didn't think to hold to an entire dozen of egg halves.
That's why I have two Rubbermaid Egg Taker containers...though 2 trays is never enough for our gatherings. The only downside of them is that each will hold 20 eggs - weird that they didn't think to hold to an entire dozen of egg halves.
I agree with the cost. We always have Miracle Whip (sorry, no Mayo in our deviled eggs) and yellow mustard...the most basic of recipes is the one liked best in our house.
If you run the math, deviled eggs will just about always be the cheapest thing you can bring to a party. After you buy the eggs, you probably have the rest of the ingredients in your fridge already. Deviled eggs are kind of a pain to transport though.![]()
sounds so odd but i just made it on sunday and it was amazing. Huge hit.
Bag of frozen meatballs (you can use turkey if you're being healthy)
1 jar of Heinz chili sauce
1 jar of grape jelly
(the jelly and the chili sauce i used were both 12 oz)
Combine the chili sauce and jelly in a sauce pan. Simmer till jelly is melted, stirring occasionally. Then throw everything into a crock pot.
sooo good!
Do you put the frozen meatballs in the crockpot with the sauce mixture? How long do you cook it for?

How do you make your deviled eggs? I have only made them twice, and I remember using mayo, mustard, sugar and vinegar. I have looked up other recipes and they call for some wierd items!!
I make this all the time. I brown 1 roll sausage, throw it in my small crockpot with 1 block of cream cheese and a can of rotel. You can double, triple deoending on how many people. Everyone loves this!
Ultimate Party Meatballs
Ingredients:
1 14-ounce can Ocean Spray® Jellied Cranberry Sauce
1 12-ounce bottle Heinz® chili sauce
1 2-pound bag frozen, pre-cooked, cocktail-size meatballs
Directions:
Combine sauces in a large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Add meatballs. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally.
Makes 30 appetizer servings.
Slow cooker Preparation: Place meatballs in a slow cooker. Combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 4 hours on HIGH.
Sausage balls: Everyone fights over them.
2 cups Bisquick
10 oz. EXTRA SHARP shredded cheddar cheese
1 pound ground sausage
Mix it all together...it takes awhile, but stick with it...lol. I use my hands and mix until it makes a big ball of dough. Roll into balls about the size of a large marble or walnut. You can put alot on a cookie sheet. They puff up but not much, so I usually put about 60 or so on a sheet. Bake until they've browned, 350 degrees about 15-18 minutes. Everyone loves them. I usually have to make a double recipe, and really, you can't mess them up. Usually I "eyeball" everything and they still come out great.
