Any suggestions on what to do with your graywater when you stay in a partial hook-up site? We have a pop-up camper and we usually stay in a full hook-up site at FW, but we will be camping there the week of christmas and we were only able to get a partial hook-up site for that week. We won't make a lot of gray water, I'm not planning on doing any cooking!!! We will probably only have a couple of gallons by the end of our stay. :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Check out my Gray Water Containment Tank Web Page.

The third and fourth pictures down are a couple of examples of small homemade gray water tanks. Easily portable and inexpensive.

FW advises you to take your gray water to any unoccupied sewer site to dump it, but with a small tank like this you may even be able to use the comfort station.

Thank you! We have a small 5 gallon tank that we can probably use to take it to the comfort station. It might be hard to find an empty full hook up Christmas week.

There is also a large deep sink in the laundry room at the comfort stations where you could dump a 5 gal container. But even at the busiest times I have always found an empty site. People come and go every day.

Ewwwe. Dump grey water into the laundry sink! I'm glad I wont be the next person to rinse out my unmentionables after you visit the laundry room. I know the difference between grey water and black water, but still...tooth paste water and soapy hand washing water.

You worry about tooth paste water and hand wash water but have no problem with other people washing their underware out. Think about it.:jester:

You have a point Memph1s. But I was more concerned with dirty dish water and the grease from doing dishes.
