We have just booked Chef Mickeys for the summer and thought the price was astronomical. For breakfast. Coupled with the fact that my newly turned 10 year old DD is paying the same as my husband for her portion which will be a fraction of his. Ouch!

Anyway - we love the place and want to have the Chef Mickeys experience so we will just have to suck it up!

My question is about the gratuity. It says they automatically add on 18% for parties of 6 or more. (We are 6) It also says that we may have to be seated at 2 different tables. So do we have a choice about how much to leave? What if the service is not great? We had terrible service once at 1900 Park Fayre so i know it can happen.

At home if we get good service we tip, great service we probably tip more and terrible service then we tip less.

So when the bill comes with our service charge on there can it be amended is my question?

Also do you tip the same for a buffet where the only service you see at your table is the person filling your drinks. Do you tip them the same amount as the waiter at California Grill who is serving up 4 courses, taking orders etc

Confused and want to get it right!

We are the same. Us and my mum and dad. We could ask for separate bills as usually split it anyway.
