Granny or no granny~

Granny's driving isnt so great anymore, and they just renewed her DL in the mail:mad:  She wont stop driving even though she admits that she really should. Her car is in the shop at least 3* a year as she "bumps into things"

I would never put her behind the wheel of an ECV. Even though it would be totally accidental, someone (likely a small child) could get seriously injured:(

We'll just get a wheel chair. In the middle of the day, no doubt, as she is to proud to admit that she needs one at first

I going to WDW in December with my almost 5yo and meeting my sister (who will be driving there) and my 81yo mother (who will be flying, which is not easy to do from southern Oregon). My mother hasn't ever been to WDW and is so excited. She just had hip reconstructive surgery and tried to postpone the surgery, but we got her to keep that on schedule by reminding her that she needed lots of time to be fully recovered by early December.

We're going to try and convince her to rent an EVC and am going in early December so we have cool weather. It shouldn't be too crowded at that time.

I figure that this may be my mother's only trip to WDW and I am so looking forward to the memories that we will be making! I'll buy a lot of her food since she tends to complain about anything that costs a lot (and she is using her timeshare points to get us a 2br condo for the week). Her main expenses will be the flight and the park hopper.

T&B

This trip will be our treat to granny. It will make for a lean x-mas but it will be worth it. Will also be gift to dd graduating from middle school

My 80yo father had a great time as long as I kept him away from Magic Kingdom, but your granny might enjoy MK too. I rented my father a scooter for the week and he ran my legs off!
