Grand Villa at BWV

Does anyone know the location of the grand villas at BWV? What I was wondering is if they all overlook the boardwalk.

And also, how many are there?

Yes all are BW view. They run from the corner of the main store and over the main store going down the boardwalk. There are 7.

Our first DVC trip to DW was a splurge with the family (adult children) staying in a grand villa.....It was like nothing we had ever seen before ....HUGE, took up one level of the whole building over the General Store,, at least 6 balconies overlooking the BW and Yacht & Beach club....magnificent...we could have had a dance in the livingroom...We felt like royalty!! We have stayed in various accomodations in many of the properties since then and have had lovely rooms with lovely views.....but the Grand Villa was an experience the "kids" still talk about! Planning our second big family trip. 12/1-12/7 (staying @BCV)..this time we will be joyfully joined by our first grandchild (22mos)... to see the wonders of the Mouse!!!We are all so excited!

When looking at a picture of the BWV, could someone describe where the GV's are located? Both the 1 and 2 story models, please.

Not sure what you mean by the 1 and 2 story models...the one we stayed in was all one floor. Do they have 2 story GV's...never saw a floor plan of one in any guide book. As you stand at the dock facing the BW staircase up to the lobby...our GV was to the right, the red building, I think on the 4th floor, running the entire length of that red building (over the General Merchandise store) Count about 6 balconies from the corner of the building over....and that's about the location of that GV. Our master bedroom was in the corner, and had one window that overlooked the grassed area between the BW staircase and BW, and the other wall was a balcony overlooking the lagoon. I assumed that the other GV's were on the same spot..just different floors. The view is incredible...looking across the lagoon to the Y&BC with Epcot in the background. A lot of points...but a splurge you have to do at least once!
