Grand Gatherings Questions

Hi everyone! My family will be part of a grand gathering in June, and will experience some of the special activities. My travel agent says the GG people no longer send out confirmations. You have to wait until you check in. Why is that? I would really like to make sure we have everything planned the way we think we do. Thanks.

We are doing a GG this June and when I made final payment by phone I asked if I would get a confirmation saying when, and that I paid, they said they dont usually send anything confirming final payment, but I asked for one and they did send me one stating I have paid in full.

A few days after we made our Grand Gathering reservations (money still owed) for August my father called to ask for a confirmation of what has been paid. They sent out a confirmation letter, but it still doesn't show that the Illuminations Dinner and Dessert Party is paid in full for everyone in our party. Which this should be noted since they already paid for this dinner for everyone as a gift.
